Services
Verona is a city on the Adige River in Veneto, Italy. Two of William Shakespeare's plays are set in Verona: Romeo and Juliet and The Two Gentlemen of Verona. It is unknown if Shakespeare ever visited Verona or Italy, but his plays have lured many visitors to Verona and surrounding cities. The City has been declared a Word Heritage Site by UNESCO because of its urban structure and architecture.

Verona and the staff is amazing! The food is fresh and delicious. I enjoy the Philly Chicken subs and the Alfredo! The owner makes his own Alfredo Sauce, so you know it’s fresh! Constantly amazing service and great food. Never let me down! They have gluten free options too! Their dinner rolls are great too and the marinara sauce is awesome! Give it a try!!

Never was a fan of James Gang food., tried Verona twice after new ownership and enjoyed the atmosphere, but the food was ok. I now need to add a new review because within the past few months something has definitely changed! The pizza is AMAZING! We ordered on a whim when doing work on the house unexpectedly... we have limited delivery.... ordered 6 pizzas for all and everyone enjoyed and commented how good it was! Much improved and we will definitely come back!!’

Called and order food to be delivered. It took about 30 minuTes for it to to arrive but once our food was there, we were not impressed. We ordered steak and cheese subs and cheese fries. The sub rolls were over baked and had no flavor even though we got the works on it, and the cheese fries were so crispy that they were half burnt. We was very dIsappointed in how our food turned out, it wasn't worth the money we spent on it. Since this place has changed hands, the food is terrible and over priced. We will not bee ordering food from there again There are better place in the area with

We’ve given Verona 4 chances to be better than James gang. Pizza is soggy with grease, wings are always over done, bacon cheese fries are never done enough bacon is under cooked, and subs are not good. We got delivery and the guy showed up with that big order in 15 minutes asking how’s that for fast service? Well it’s wasn’t good fast isn’t always better. We’ve gotten this order 4 times! One time pizza was burnt on the bottom. Each time is the same so we are done with this place I give up. Staff is super nice if I had to say something good.

Absolute amazing food! The pizza was so fresh and tasty I couldn’t believe my mouth. Everything we ordered got eaten almost immediately. You can tell the food was really made with love and care. James is doing a fantastic job putting out good pizza and good food. If you are ever looking for a new pizza spot, look no further. 6 stars if it was available

The food is beyond terrific! Best pizza I've had in years! It's over an hour away from my house but worth the trip every time! The Sicilian style pizza is my go-to order every time. The crust is amazing and has a satisfying crunch on the top, sides, and bottom! Great sauce, perfect amount of cheese and toppings. So delicious! The fried mozzarella cheese sticks with meat sauce is my choice appetizer! Enjoy!

We ordered three pizzas from here, the Hawaiian, vegetarian and a simple cheese pizza for the kids. We were not impressed at all with the pizza. The cheese on all of the pizza wasnt fully cooked. There was too much ham on the Hawaiian. There were barely any vegetables in the vegetarian. We were very let down.

Well you can't usually go wrong with pizza, butttt I must say this wasn't the best pizza I've ever had. I ordered a 16" thin crust pizza. The ordering process over the phone was friendly enough and the pizza arrived in the expected amount of time. However... when I picked up my first slice of pizza alllll of the cheese (and toppings) slid right of the crust so not ideal in a good pizza. Additionally I wasn't blown away by the taste (it wasn't very cheesy? As one expects from a pizza?)
All in all I would probably order my pizza from somewhere else next time.

I tried to give this place another chance but.....I am sorry to say but their food is just minimally ok. I got a steak and cheese and it was poor. Pressed steakum meat, on a roll with a tomato that was pitifully pale and tasteless. I thought out here in the country I would at least get a local juicy homegrown tomato. This sub has zero flavor. I had to add hot cherry peppers just to give it a taste. Husband ordered a Stromboli and he threw half of it out untouched as there was way too much garlic and the crust was doughy inside and burnt outside.

It is not a restaurant where you must dress up, or a place where anyone might feel uncomfortable. It is a homey easy going place that sometimes is filled with teens, or families, or just adults, and that's ok! The pizza here is really good, but our favorite is the chicken calzone. Fabulous. Served with enough sauce on the side to really dive in and enjoy. James Gang is a middletown staple. We would order delivery but alas we are half a block out of their cut off zone! But eating in is fine too. Try the meatballs on the pizza. Yum.

I add mushroom to the white pizza and it's my second favorite pizza in the county. They now have a very large large screen TV. Lunch service is always slow, but so are the other spots; it's a lazy kinda town and that's fine with me! They do a lot of take out business. The antipasta salad is a big hit with my family as are the cheesy fries!

First time here and I enjoyed it very much. My friends and I spent the whole day tubing, and this was the best ending to such a great day. The pizza was delish and the waitress was very friendly.
Fyi, they have really good mozzarella sticks...like they're really good. That's all I can say since I've only been once. But it was a great experience and would love to visit again.
