Services
Founded in 2020 by Dr. Jane Mayo, Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital is a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. We believe our relationships with patients and clients is paramount, and we're proud to bring the best in both veterinary medicine and client care to the cats, dogs, and people of Seminole, Largo, and the surrounding areas.
This starts with a foundation of preventive care including vaccinations, parasite prevention, research - based nutrition and dental care. If your pet falls ill, though, we will be here to help. With in - hospital diagnostics, including digital Xrays and bloodwork, and our surgery, dental and hospitalization services, CVH is your front - line resource for your sick dog or cat.
As we have limited space available for boarding, we recommend that you call early for reservations. We board dogs and cats only. Proof of vaccines are required. If your pet needs vaccinations prior to boarding, please schedule an appointment two weeks prior to boarding, if possible. Otherwise, your pet can be examined and vaccinated upon admission to the hospital.

Dr Mayo and her staff are knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. Her exam and recommendations for our senior dog who has a severe heart condition was reassuring to me. She spent time with us, explained his med routine and answered our questions and concerns. In my opinion, she’s one of the best vets in Pinellas County.

First of all, if I could give Dr. Mayo more than a 5-star rating, I would! I rarely use the word "amazing", but she and her staff are worthy of the adjective! I have known Dr. Mayo for 15 years. She has taken my sweet fur baby from cradle to grave. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, GREAT with her patients...both pets and humans! She has a true love for what she does, and it is readily apparent in all phases of her practice. If you need a veterinarian, stop looking; you've found your home here!

It sort of gives off a warm country feel from the moment you step in the door.
The tech walked us through our reasons for being there.(vaccine)
We also went over my concerns with Maggie, our 14 year old westie.
The Dr came in and looked Maggie over and advised us on things to do in the near future.
Cornerstone vet is our #1 choice to take our youngest of the family.

They have taken care of all my boys and girls for many years all seven. It’s nice to have people that know my dogs. I have a shepherd who tends to be a hand full yet with Patients she takes care of her with all of her Anxiety and at times aggressive behavior .

I just want to start by saying how grateful I am to have this whole staff in my dogs lives. I switched to them recently from a horrible vet and they have been nothing but supportive and just simply amazing. I recently had my dog that I adopted last year pass away. The compassion and thoughtfulness that came from this whole office is beyond words I can describe. I have had the pleasure to be able for my baby to go to doggie heaven in their hands. I went to Cornerstone Vet Hospital for my puppy to get a few things looked at and really enjoyed my experience there. My usual vet was closed for the holiday weekend and Cornerstone was able to get me in the same day and was friendly, professional, and a good value. I will be recommending them to my other pet owning friends!

I have known Dr Mayo for many years. She has been taking care of my dogs for a very long time. I am so glad she opened her own practice. She is kind , smart and compassionate.There is no better Veterinary doctor than her. You definitely want to bring your animals to her, you will not be disappointed. Her staff is wonderful, so kind and compassionate. They will take the best care of your pets. You will love her and her staff.
