Services

Our office also features Wi-Fi, so you can browse the web while you wait.
We use our hands and wrists to complete nearly every activity we engage in throughout the day. Acute hand and wrist injuries and chronic conditions alike can lead to a cascade of effects, including numbness, decreased range of motion, discomfort and pain. This area of the body is made of up complex and delicate structures, so proper diagnosis and thoughtful, precise care are of the utmost importance.
The thumb is one of the most common locations in the hand affected by osteoarthritis. This condition develops as the cartilage of the thumb joint wears away and no longer allows the joint to glide smoothly. Thumb arthritis can be extremely painful, resulting in swelling, decreased strength, and diminished range of motion.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition of the hand and wrist that occurs when a major nerve running from the forearm into the hand becomes compressed because of swelling or other factors. Patients with this condition can experience sharp pain, numbness, and tingling in the palm and fingers. Dr. Jeffrey M. Jacobson offers endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery to help patients in the Westchester, NY, area find relief from this condition.
Cubital tunnel syndrome is caused by a pinched nerve in the elbow. A form of ulnar nerve compression, it happens when the ulnar nerve, which passes through a narrow space in the elbow called the cubital tunnel, gets compressed. The ulnar nerve runs from the neck down to the hand and provides feeling to the small finger a.k.a.

Dr. Jacobson was really nice and funny. I was NOT a good patient and he put up with me. He saw me with a nasty dog bite on my thumb and saw right away it was infected and put me right in the hospital. I am impressed with his skills even though it hurt.

Dr. Jacobson did surgery on both of my husband's elbows/hands (cubital and carpal tunnel). His professionalism is unmatched!! He even took time to call my husband each time to see how he was doing. That is amazing.
I am going to have surgery by him soon and I have to say I would be seriously uncomfortable if it was not Dr. Jacobson. We are very blessed to have this surgeon in our area.
