If you are faced with debts you cannot afford to pay, and especially if you are being threatened with serious consequences like foreclosure or wage garnishment, you owe it to yourself to learn more about your bankruptcy options.

We can help. Debt is a fact of life in the modern economy, where achieving your goals often requires investment from outside sources. Unfortunately, sometimes unexpected circumstances can lead to debt getting out of control. Loss of a job, a medical emergency, a divorce, or another situation can make debt unmanageable.

For more than 30 years, our law firm and its predecessors have been giving skilled attention to the individual needs of people seeking debt relief through the bankruptcy process. If you are faced with debts you cannot afford to pay, and especially if you are being threatened with serious consequences like foreclosure or wage garnishment, you owe it to yourself to learn more about your bankruptcy options.
While the internet is full of information, the law is complicated and nothing can replace the advice an experienced bankruptcy attorney can provide. Our free bankruptcy consultation will provide information about your individual circumstances. If you live in Nebraska or Iowa, you can speak to one of our experienced bankruptcy lawyers via our free initial consultation offer.
Our law firm, John T. Turco & Associates, and its predecessors have been helping people in Nebraska and Iowa get debt relief since 1989. Founding attorney John T. Turco is broadly respected within the legal community and has received the highest possible AV Rating* from Martindale-Hubbell. Our two associate attorneys each bring unique experiences to our team.
Truly some of the nicest people to help me; they answer my questions, are always patient, and are good at making sure I understand what is going on. I couldn't be more happy with John Turco's entire office. They made this a very easy, painless and quick experience during an otherwise difficult time in my life.
Bankruptcy law provides protection to people who cannot pay off their debts so that those people can get back on track and make a fresh financial start. Bankruptcy cases generally fall under federal law and claims must be filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. One question many people have when they are first considering filing for bankruptcy is what type of bankruptcy do they qualify for.

The people that work at this firm are kind, professional, compassionate and competent. If anyone is like me, you walk in to the office to receive a consultation possibly feeling like you are the only person who has gone through whatever situation that brought you in to the office. Expecting to be treated a certain way, I was met with the exact opposite. They treated me with dignity, respect, kindness and understanding.
After meeting with the attorney and one of his trusted assistants, we collectively came up with the best plan for me that was in my best interests. Let me reiterate, MY BEST INTERESTS

I've not ever been there but after reading the reviews in my opinion this Turco guy has a smart mouth and is kind of rude. That alone made me choose not to do business with their firm. He seems to rip into his clients that may feel they weren't satisfied with their firm's service. I wouldnt do business with a person who explains our encounter on a google review.

This is John Turco and I would like to respond to the a negative review recently made.
While I am unable to ethically discuss anyone's case in a public forum, I would like to suggest, in general, that bankruptcy law is very complex and even very slight changes as to the facts of a case can change our legal advice. We meet with each individual in person for an initial consultation and sometimes via phone or video conferencing. Significant information is asked of our prospective client. For example, how much income do you make, what type of assets do you own, such as a house, car, or other items
