Captain Dan is the owner/operator of Nothing But Time Sailing Charters, LLC. He possesses a 25 gross ton Master Captain license with sailing endorsement issued by the United States Coast Guard. Captain Dan grew up boating on the lakes and rivers of beautiful upstate NY. After serving in the USMC, he moved to sunny Florida to complete Indian River state college for Physical Therapy.
While living there, his passion of sailing was established. Sailing on the intercoastal waterway, open Atlantic ocean, even racing in the local regatta's. After enjoying all that Florida has to offer, and missing his beloved New York state of mind, Captain Dan returned home to NYS.

The SHEER ENERGY is a 2011 Hunter Model and hull #49 of this series. The yacht is optimized for ease-of-handling for sailors with her modern design details that include the HUNTER signature B&R Rig as a "standard feature" that eliminates the need for a backstay and enables a more efficient mainsail shape too.
All sailings provided conditions warrant. If Nothing But Time Sailing Charters, llc cancels a sail due to weather, mechanical or other reasons customers will be offered a refund or the ability to rebook for a different date. Our family went out for the day to celebrate a birthday. Captain Dan and First Mate Kelly made this such a memorable experience! They were so friendly and professional! They were knowledgeable about the Hudson River sites and took extra steps to make this a special time for our family! Plus the cost was more than fair! I highly recommend you try them out!
