Dove the Charleston Tug (Sunday 9/5/21)...viz was 20-30' at the top of the wreck and less at the bottom - could have been less experienced divers stirring the sand. Loved the crew, especially one of our Dive Masters (Sara). They did a thorough pre-dive, changed our tanks between dives and rinsed our gear before we made it back to the dock. Cold bottled water and juice was available. Perfect day to dive, mid-80's and calms seas (although they mentioned 4' swells the day before). Two years since my last dive and they allowed me to pay extra for a guide in lieu of taking a refresher course. Good crew

As a divemaster with 350+ dives - I could definitely recommend their services. They are on point of everything- safety comes first - boat is cool - staff is amazing from the operation manager to Ashley
to everybody I met during my 2 days with them.
Just keep in mind that the marina is pretty far from the shop and you will have to bring your own snacks and beverages.
Only improvement could be to offer some snacks to sell at their office on the marina.
Under than that - I will definitely dive again with them when I will be around

Excellent outfit. Really really enjoyed my time scuba diving. I had never scuba dove before. Felt safe the entire time. Instructors were patient and clear. Did the intro course (Discover Scuba) one day and then did a dive to an artificial reef in the ocean the next day. Instructor was on my shoulder the whole time. Saw awesome aquatic sea life and swam through a school of bait fish several times. Also saw Angel fish and Barracudas. Highly recommend Coastal Scuba.

The crew members were extremely helpful and patient with everyone. Went to the Sherman which is in pretty bad shape, but there is enough to see for the dives.
Only downside is that one of the crew said it's ok to take only one starfish down there and as many buttons as we want. Last I checked, taking living creatures out of the water for souvenir is not a good thing to do. Any prudent scuba diver would ignore that suggestion, but I'd like them to stop suggesting that in the future just in case people don't make good decisions. Let's do better.

The charter that I wanted got cancelled due to weather, however I was able to reschedule it to another one, even within the small time frame that I was going to be in town.
Good communication via email and phone. Boat crew was awesome, very knowledgeable, helpful, and they really did a great job taking care of everyone one the boat.

Great place for scuba gear. If you want to learn scuba I highly recommend, they have a discovery scuba class with a GREAT instructor, Mr. Larry. He is very trusting and caring and will not put you in danger or let you danger yourself. 5 🌟 is not enough, more like 100 🌟

My 14-yr-old son loved the pool session. They did a thorough review including video demonstration prior to the pool session. They didn't rush him. So he felt comfortable with the equipment and procedures. We will be back for the ocean session.

I just returned today from my dive with Coastal Scuba and it was a really wonderful experience. I am used to diving in the Caribbean so unsure what to expect for my first Atlantic Coast dive.
I was not expecting to dive this weekend as I was in town for business but after reading about Coastal in the hotel binder I decided to check them out. I booked Wednesday night for a Saturday dive and went into the shop to fill out my paperwork Thursday. Cameron greeted me the moment I walked through the door, got my paperwork and took care of me. The other gentleman who finished my check-out process was

Went diving with this group after realizing I could get a few dives in while visiting Myrtle Beach. The store was well lit and clean. Well organized and did not seem cramped. Decided to do a refresher while I was in town to brush up. Was able to get in the next day. Boat crew was great and took care of everything for you. Will certainly return in the future when I am back in the area
