Only two people per family are allowed in the laundromat at a time, including children. To provide a safe environment for all customers and staff, large families are not allowed in the laundromat. Please do not bring children under the age of 14. If this cannot be avoided, children must remain under strict parental-control and must also maintain social distancing.

If you are unable to manage this and/or are not paying attention to the attendant, you will be asked to leave. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and appreciate your trust through these challenging times. The safety of our customers and employees remains our number one priority, we need your cooperation for the good of everyone.
Services
At Washtenaw Wash laundromat we provide a wide variety of Speedqueen machines to help you do your laundry effectively and economically. In addition to our standard top load washers made to clean 10 to 12 pounds of dry laundry per wash, we provide a number of other attractive options. For example, we offer front load washers in a number of sizes.
We offer both do-it-yourself and drop-off laundry service for clothes, blankets, comforters, quilts, and sleeping bags. Rates for both our Standard and Extra Large dryers are only 25 cents for a full eight minutes! The cost of your do-it-yourself wash and dry will depend on the size of the machine you use and the number of loads you have.
At Washtenaw Wash laundromat we believe it's important to save you money! We often run a variety of specials and coupons to give you the best value we can. So be sure to contact us or come on in and ask our laundry attendant about any specials we may be offering as well as any details and restrictions that may apply.
Do you know the best way to get ketchup, tea, lipstick or other common stains out of your clothes? At Washtenaw Wash, we're here to help! Place face down on paper towels and sponge with finger nail polish remover until stain dissolves. Treat stain immediately. Soak 30 minutes or more in cold water.

Today an unmasked employee yelled in my face because I attempted to push my cart in front of a machine to unload it and he had just mopped there. No yellow 'wet floor' signs as required by law--ever. A couple weeks ago an employee grabbed the front of a cart I was pushing and twisted out of her way, twisting my wrists in the process. She also likes to stare hard at certain customers for no apparent reason. If you like aggressive employees and slip and fall hazards, this is the place for you. If you are as old as I am (70) and want a safe and chill place to do your laundry, look elsewhere.

Wild how I can't smoke in there but employees don't wear masks. Since when do they care what they're breathing in?

I wouldn't even rate this place a 1 honestly. Horrible customer service, its filthy there as well. The workers sit and watch nurato on netflix and be on facetime the entire time uncontrollably laughing and overall being obnoxious. I never go here and decided to this one time and was proven exactly why i dont. The workers want you to do their job for them. And then told us theres no contact for management as if the place would just let a bunch of nobodies in and just start working clearly theres a hiring process. I will never be back, sloppy and unprofessional. Plus there was water flooding. Horrible

Big, brightly lit and open all night, Washtenaw Wash is alright with me. They've got machines of varying sizes to knock out your laundry bags right quick. I had to wash my huge comforter recently so right into the jumbo it went.
There's TVs and they've had decent movies on the couple times I've been in here. Usually it seems like laundromats have the dregs of programming on. And even past midnight WW had an attendant on duty. I didn't need him for anything but he was there.
Only problem here is I don't live in Washtenaw County, but way over on the other side

I haven't been to a laundry mat in ages! There were two ladies working at my visit. One was very nice and helpful. There are loads of machines with different sizes to choose from, a vending machine, and two quarter machines.

rating it a 3
the dryers was awful this trip. Always great in the past. Usually dried everything within 3/4 quarters now they're not getting things dry with even 4 quarters!?
Hopefully they fix the issue. Other than this recent dryer problem this place is great I would love to rate it a 5.

This place is kept clean and the price to wash and dry is responsible. You have to wear your mask and practice social distance. They do have a sink with soap and water if you would like to wash your hand, hand sanitizer is available, and Clorox wipe are at the customer service desk. I feel safe going to to do laundry. Also, this place is open 24 hours.

Yes the place is clean, you better hope the dryer you choose is running properly though! This guy won't even inspect the dryer after you voice concerns about the dryer's effectiveness!
First he tried to say I overloaded it, not true! I took the same load and put it in another dryer, I had just used for another load, everything dried no problem.
Once again, I let him know that other dryer had an issue.
Then he said it must have been my temperature setting, not true, again! I have at least 30 years experience in washing clothes! POOR customer service!
I will not return!

We have brought our large comforters here a few times as they do not fit in our washer at home. Usually the comforter is ready the same day and it costs about $12. This last time we were rather disappointed as the comforter was still wet when we put it on the bed (this has never happened before). Of course it was in the evening and was not dry by the time we needed it to go to bed. Called the store regarding this issue- nothing was done. Will be checking out other laundry services.

This is a cash-only establishment.

Notes: cash only, and you must pay when you drop off.

The good: they are open 24 hours, and will wash and fold your clothes (typically) within 5 or 6 hours tops. Also, the price is very reasonable. $1.25/lb

The bad: they fold shirts incorrectly here. Like, who folds a shirt in half vertically so the crease runs down the middle? It might not be important to some people, but it's egregious enough (for me personally) that i'm now looking around for a new place.

Follow up, 10/21: All of my darks came back discolored with what looks like liquid detergent after washing/drying. Hopefully

I am a busy massage therapist in A2. This weekend was packed so I decided to try Washtenaw Wash. Big mistake. I picked up my sheets Monday and they were wrinkled, folded hap hazard, and I just discovered bleach stains on some of the sheets. They are ruined!

Their customer service is sub-par. The gal who took my sheets informed me they were cash only. I didn't know that, even though I had called several times to check on their rates and policies.

I will never use them again, and I DO NOT recommend them for pick up and drop off laundry.

Not being from the area I was looking for a laundry mat that was clean and had working
machines. I settled on Washtenaw Wash after reading prior reviews, there were plenty of working machines, coin exchanges worked and it wasn't too crowded. The inside was well lit and had plenty of signs explaining what washers to use for how much laundry, I found the rates to be competitive for washing and excellent for dryer usage at a mere $0.25 for an 8 minute cycle. The bathrooms were clean and the wifi was quick and thoughtful. Don't let the slightly run down appearance fool you, the inside is

The best thing about Washtenaw Wash is that it's open all night. So you can always get the laundry washed in time. It's also clean, well-lit and completely free of criminals and seedy people.
The machines cost less after midnight. Free Wi-Fi. Snack machines and lots of seating.
