Colorado Conservatory Of Dance
The National Guild for Community Arts Education certified these quality programs in 1999. As the organization grew, the public's desire and need for accessible dance performances became apparent and drove the school, then known as BNC, to establish a professional company in 2002 with a small group of dancers presenting performances at local theaters.

Later that year, the Colorado State House of Representatives recognized BNC with a resolution for its contributions to the state through professional performances, educational programs and community involvement. In 2003, Julia Wilkinson Manley led the implementation of the organization's ongoing Title I Elementary Partnership Program, helping high-need schools to strengthen core curricula through the integration of dance.

Colorado Conservatory of Dance is hands down the best ballet school we have ever experienced. Both of our children, 14 yr daughter and 11 yr son, have been attending CCD since we moved to Broomfield CO in the summer of 2018. CCD's well rounded curriculum have allowed our kids to thrive and develop as dancers and individuals. Artistic director, Julia Wilkinson Manley, and the entire staff at CCD are phenomenal teachers, mentors, and role models.

The two summers I spent at CCD were the best I’ve ever had. The teaching here is amazing. I learned so much about ballet, the body, and hard work that I got to bring back home with me. Mrs. Julia runs an exceptional program!

My daughter enrolled her 17 month old daughter in a class after they told her that the class was for that age, 17 months to 2 yrs olds. 1st class, I went with my daughter and granddaughter. My little granddaughter was walking all over the place and would fuss when my daughter tried to keep her in a circle. There were no other 17 month olds in the… class and come to find out after the class, the other girls had already taken the class before and were all 2 years old! My daughter, 24, is a single mom. She's trying to give my granddaughter as much as other parents but I feel she was taken advantage

CCD is welcoming to all ages! As an adult learner with no prior ballet experience, I feel comfortable with the pace of the classes. I have made new friends, and look forward to seeing them each week.

This studio is high quality and really cares about its students - all the way from 1yo to 80yo! I have really enjoyed taking here as an adult and having my daughter take classes and perform.

My daughter has taken lessons here for two years. The teachers are all kind and caring, and they exact more discipline than your average dance studio. I also think the kiddos learn more here, too.

The details: There is a dress code (specific color & type of leotard), so factor that into your budget. And the kids are required to have their hair pulled into a bun. Tickets for the year-end show are $25 a person. Plus costume fees (but the costumes for the little kids are leotards and tights they can wear for the next session of classes).

My daughter loves it here. She especially loves that after

I have now been dancing with Colorado Conservatory of Dance for about nine months in their adult program, I take approximately five classes a week, and in all that time I have had only fantastic experiences!… The teachers are all so wonderful, not just as teachers but they’re also great people! I highly recommend CCD for any adult who is either thinking of taking up ballet for the first time, or of getting back to ballet after a break!

I would recommend CCD to any family. I began my training here in my last semester of my senior year in high school...not an easy switch. The students and faculty alike made the transition so smooth and treated me like family from the moment I stepped in the door. CCD has amazing teachers that work with every student to reach their full potential.… Their programs offer such diverse training to really equip every individual for whatever path they take with dance. The school community in and of itself is fabulous and everything they do in the greater community cannot be matched. I love CCD

I'm reviewing from an adult perspective. It seems that the youth program there is the focus and the students who were around the studio when I arrived were very enthusiastic about the space and their dance career.

When I came in for class, there was no one at reception. I later find out that the receptionist was in a meeting, one that looked very important, but knowing that Colorado Conservatory of Dance might be having trouble recruiting participants for the adult program, I would recommend treating adult students like valued clients. Being in front to greet a potential new student and answer

I take adult ballet classes here and I really love it. The teaching staff are excellent (I had professional training when I was young and everyone here is equally skilled without the attitude.) I was warmly welcomed and shown to the studio on my first day. Other students are friendly and introduce themselves and it is a warm, supportive environment for students of all levels.

I've been taking adult classes here for about 4 years. The staff is very dedicated to help you achieve whatever ballet goal you have. When I started I really didn't know what fifth position was and that's okay since they offer a Fundamental Class that will teach you from ground zero. I'm now taking Beginning/Intermediate Classes. Besides the wonderful teachers the outreach programs here are wonderful. I love this place and the folks that work here. There heart is truly in the craft they teach.

The teachers here are wonderful. My daughter has attended this school for 3 years now and she just loves it. She has learned a lot and wants to try out for nutcracker next year. Each class performs a choreographed performance at the end of the year as well. Pricing for an hour of ballet and an hour of tap are very competive.

This ain't your grandparents ballet! Ladies and gents, welcome to the new generation of ballet dancers. Yes, they're still incredibly graceful. Yup, they have some of the most enviable bodies in the universe. And, yes, the dudes still have visible manpart protectors. Other than that, there's nothing stuffy or antiquated about this ballet troupe.

I was fortunate enough to see "Rock Ballets," which featured three acts of choreography to INXS, Queen and Bowie in that order. I've always loved Queen, but seeing their music paired with innovative movement and dance had

The show at the Arvada Center was amazing! This company can make you laugh one minute and cry the next. Their energy is infectious, and their skill and artistry just take my breath away.

If you are looking for a place for your kid to dance, you really have to try the School of BNC. Many of the company dancers teach, and all of them take the time to interact with the kids. My daughter is really inspired in this environment. She learns solid technique, and then she gets to see her teachers practice what they preach. BNC is a serious, disciplined school, but unlike many elite ballet schools

Outstanding! I've never, EVER seen ballet quite like this and let me tell you, boy do I love it! Ballet Nouveau Colorado continues to step it up each season with amazing choreography, dancing and pure beauty. If you find ballet boring and are looking for something different, fun and exciting... check out BNC. They won't disappoint. I give this amazing company 6 stars. Love, love, love them!

I heart Ballet Nouveau! They are a class act. The strip mall dance schools are a dime a dozen but ballet nouveau is a dollar bill for sure.
They have an excellent ballet school for ages 3 and up. They also have a student company and a professional company. Many of the professional dancers teach.
I've been taking my girls there for four years and we have gotten to know the majority of staff and teachers and they are wonderful people, dancers, and teachers.
What really puts Ballet Nouveau in a class of it's own is their community outreach programs. You see, they are a non-profit
