Melrose Metalworks was founded in 1998 with a 7,200 square foot facility and two employees. Today, we have grown to nearly 53,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 50 employees. With an inventory of nearly 50 CNC machines, including our two highly efficient horizontal milling cells equipped with pallet changers and pallet shuttles, we offer some of the most diversified capabilities in the Midwest.

Grinder, Solidworks, Gibbs CAM, Parlec tool setters, automatic band saw, delivery truck and more. Providing quality work to our customers is a top priority. We regularly invest in updating inspection tools, adding inspection equipment and training to stay with the current trends. We strive for on time delivery!
Services
MMI has a variety of CNC milling and turning machines that allows us to take on almost any type of job big or small. The machines are listed below with some of their specifications. With a 7-second pallet changing 15,000 RPM spindle speed, 1000 psi high-pressure coolant system, and Big Plus dual contact tooling, this race car of a machine offers top speed machining with unbeatable tight tolerances.

It’s a sad day, but a day I knew was unfortunately coming. As of now, Melrose Metalworks, the company that my father, Scott Kramer, spent 20 years of his life building, no longer exists. Before he passed away of cancer in 2016, he set the business up in a trust. The trustees, Gina Eggert and Matt Eibensteiner rapidly sent the business into foreclosure in a matter of months and led a successful manufacturing business into foreclosure last year, after withholding information from my family, not communicating the state of the business, never reaching out to competent people with manufacturing management
