Background: I purchased some equipment in Seattle. The two largest pieces were each 5,500 pounds plus (about 90" L x 75" W x 90" H). The other pieces of equipment ranged from 250 to 600 pounds each. The time frame provided to remove the equipment from the facility in which they were located was very narrow...just a couple of days and at very short notice..again, just a few days. Steve Bupp, the rigging supervisor, told me that they were booked solid during the time period allowed for the removal of the equipment

There is trucking and then there is such as nelson, level of professionalism unrivaled. Union men and women schooled in loading, transporting, taken to the next level, like the difference between a union and non union carpentry learning program. The union carpenter has a lifetime of demand for his or her quality skills, the other is just so hit and miss, who wants to guess?? This is where union training-apprenticeship shines.
