The Tech Shop is located in the Fenwick Plaza center just north of the intersection of NW 164th (15th Street in Edmond) and North Pennsylvania Ave. We also service many neighboring towns such as piedmont, deer creek, etc. We are a one stop shop for computer repair / laptop repair and upgrade. We also specialize in custom-built computers so that you are not limited to what you can buy off the shelf at the major retailers.

Services
The Tech Shop was created to provide our clients high quality computer support in both computer repair and sales. We also carry reasonably priced components if you choose to create your own custom build or add new life to your existing system. The Tech Shop staff has over 15 years experience in the building of custom computers.
The Tech Shop stocks everything necessary for repairing most PCs on site. However, if not in stock, we are partnered with a supply company so that we can receive whatever is necessary within 1-2 business days. This insures very fast turnaround service since every computer brought in is evaluated within 24 hours of receiving it.
When your desktop computer or laptop starts to slow down and becomes a burden to use, you have a couple of options. You can upgrade your existing machine with new components, or you can scrap your old machine and buy a new one. There are a few things that you should examine before you make a decision.

Super happy with the work I just had done here..laptop starts right up instead of taking forever to wake itself up. Matt explained what he was going to do as well as some other options and never talked to me like I was a knucklehead even though I probably did my best to make that difficult. Lol. Fair honest and fast.

Matt was incredible - my computer fan stopped working and I needed to get it replaced. He was upfront about the process and we ordered the part. It wasn't supposed to come in for about a week and I was super stressed, as I needed my laptop working again pretty urgently.
He called the next day, saying that he managed to find the part locally, and he could get it done that day. A week's turnaround time became a couple hours!
I really appreciated his follow-up as it saved me from having to source a temporary laptop in the meantime.

Matt was great. We went in with a general problem with our PC. Matt asked questions, listened to our answers and made suggestions/recommendations based on our needs. He did everything he said he would, quickly and at a very reasonable price. We couldn't be happier with the service and wholeheartedly recommend his company for PC and tech needs.

I visited The Tech Shop for the first time this spring when my laptop computer quit charging. Matt, the owner, showed me how to fix the problem myself in the future (I did have to buy a laptop repair toolkit), answered some other questions and charged a VERY reasonable amount. Some tech folks are condescending, but Matt is very helpful and encouraging to those of us who want to learn.
My second visit was today when I had a different problem and the solution I learned the last time didn't work. I learned something ELSE to try when my laptop is being cranky, and, once again, the price was right

I don't give 5 stars easily, but Matt at The Tech Shop deserves at least 6. I've done my own computer maintenance for about 20 years, so I spent a whole day trying to save, restore, recover a hard drive and finally gave up. I got tired of dealing with it so I called Matt. He replaced the failing hard drive with a faster one (computer boots in 10-15sec) and I can still recover my files from the old drive. Got it all back the next day. Neither Geek Squad or Office Depot wanted to touch the computer. They just want to sell you new machines. If you don't need a new computer let Matt fix what you have

I bought what I thought was a great computer at Best Buy by their recommendation. Less than 2 years later it suddenly stopped charging. I took it to Best Buy and they told my computer was done. I needed to buy a new one. I didn't and heard through a friend over a year later about The Tech Shop. I took it in "just to see if it could be fixed". Matt had it completely repaired and updated in less than 3 days. Saved me hundreds! I highly recommend using this company before spending possibly needless dollars. Thank you Tech Shop!

Matt was incredibly helpful and exceeded meeting my expectations. I thought I found a great deal on a desktop and just wanted to see if he could transfer some files. After talking with him, and him asking me what I needed in a computer, I realized I bought a system that had too much stuff on it. I ended up buying a computer he custom built for my needs and, even though I paid a little more, the service and knowledge I received was worth every cent. He was very upfront and has even helped me with some questions I have had after getting it home. I will continue to do business with him and will tell

This guy is incredible. Answers everything you have questions about. Extremely knowledgeable about PCs both Hardware side and Software side. I brought my full size tower this morning at 9 a.m when he opened and about 5 in the evening he called me and had It done and It looked fantastic. His prices are great. He even works on Apple Macs which is awesome. If you ever need any maintenance or a computer built then this is the guy to come too. 5/5 service and if you have questions about anything after you get home. He will explain everything too you over the phone. Very nice guy. Will be using his service

Before tossing your one year old computer, call Matt the owner of The Tech Shop. Typically by describing the issue, Matt can in the time it takes to turn on a computer pin point the issue and explain the various options. His encyclopedia like knowledge of computers and their components is unmatched.
More impressive is his unquestionable character. A few years ago, I took my Mac into Matt, it was running slow on good days, but I like the appearance and structure, so I was prepared to have it rebuilt. I don't remember how, but I walked into the The Tech Shop. Matt was happy to oblige and said
