Brink's Market has been a family owned grocery store since 1919. Oscar Brink started working in 1898 for Nelson's Grocery on Payne Ave in St. Paul's east side and in 1919 decided to start his own store. Brink's Grocery was located on lower Payne Ave. in St. Paul. In 1947 Oscar retired from the grocery business.
In, 1952 Oscar son Milton, opened a store on Park Dr. in St. Paul, which he operated until the early 1960's. In 1962, Milton bought 3 small adjoining buildings on Main Street in Center City, MN. He opened Center City Superfair in the Fall of 1962. Milton, his son Sandy, and Milton's sister Hazel operated the store until 1968 when he sold the store to his brother Roger Brink Sr.

THANK YOU BRINKS family, for serving our community, especially during COVID. Early in, You helped ration TP to ensure everyone got some. You also carry some LOVELY high end, unique products that I can only get at Brinks. I also buy some bargain brands and appreciate those. And, I’ve been so grateful you are open on most Holidays, when I forget something. Our family really appreciates the variety, friendly faces, help carrying groceries and ease of shopping at Brinks (vs big box stores). We know staffing, shipping, stocking is challenging, especially during COVID. Thank you, Holly Maxwell / Pete

Great local grocery store that continuously seems to invest in itself. The staff are extremely nice too! Two reasons I only reason I gave them four stars instead of five:
1. We require gluten-free products for some members of my family. These products seem to be constantly moving around the store and when you find one that you like, half of the time they stop stocking it. They used to have a section of gluten-free dry goods, then it moved, now it's gone.
2. The frozen gluten-free location also has breads that contain gluten so you need to check your product labels! Sprouted grain breads have
