Exeter Irrigation was established in 1980 by Joe & Jo Ann Dodson with Don Willis as Exeter Irrigation & Supply. The need for a local irrigation company offering quality parts and service was realized by Don and the first location was opened on Spruce Road near Rocky Hill Drive.
In 1981, they moved to the current location on Kaweah Avenue where a new building with storefront and fabrication shop was built to better suit the needs of the growers in the area.Following Joe's untimely passing, Jo Ann continued managing the company and remains an active member of the Exeter business community through her ongoing efforts with the Exeter Chamber of Commerce.
