I hired HDH Design Group to design my new backyard in El Dorado Hills. Harlan Hardesty, the owner, came out and checked out my dirt yard and discussed my likes and dislikes about landscaping! He then submitted a complete landscaping plan that covered hardscape, landscape, lighting, drainage, water feature, etc. I wanted a lot of colorful flowers in my yard. He came through with a beautiful design that captured everything I wanted in my yard. I submitted this plan to the Serrano Architecture committee and they immediately approved the plan.

Harlan did a complete landscape design for my backyard in El Dorado Hills and he did an amazing job. His wealth of knowledge and experience, familiarity with the local area, and extreme attention to detail all allowed him to create a beautiful design that we love. In total, he created five detailed designs: overall layout, irrigation, drainage, lighting, and plants.

We moved into our home just short of 3 years ago. Since the garden was overgrown and the plants were not in good health, we decided to let everything go brown and wait until we had a good water year to re-plant. We hired Randy Gove, Gove Landscape Construction, who engaged HDH Design Group on our behalf to do the landscape design. (We have posted a separate review for Randy and his team.)
