Piano lessons are tailored to each student's interests in classical, jazz, blues, and pop music genres. This individualized approach makes lessons and practice more enjoyable for the student. Teaching beginning, intermediate-level and early advanced piano students in a casual, relaxed setting is my specialty.

Services
As a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs, my students can participate in a non competitive piano festival held in February each year. As a member of the Iowa Music Teachers Association, my piano students may participate in a piano competition called the pre-college Auditions each February.
About two years ago, I really dove into orchestral listening, and I took some of your advice that stuck with me. A particular highlight has been my intense score-study and listening to Shostakovich's 7th Symphony. The piece is every bit as incredible as you described it to be - I have so much love for the first movement, just as you did.
