As an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist I evaluate and treat patients of all ages with serious (and sometimes not so serious) mental health problems on a daily basis. Many of these patients have previously suffered serious consequences following a misdiagnosis, such as being prescribed the wrong type of medication or receiving improper psychotherapy.
Dr. Tim is one of only about 200 physicians triple board-certified in psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry & forensic psychiatry. At 360 Mental Health Services, we pride ourselves on offering an evaluation that, although time and labor intensive, is truly 360-degree in nature and looks at the "whole person." Subsequent interview with the child or adolescent in the presence of the parents or caregivers; may interview child or adolescent alone, when appropriate.
How do I know if 360 Mental Health Services is the right place for my child's evaluation?. Choosing the "right" person to evaluate your child, a loved one, or you can be a difficult decision to make. Dr. Tim recognizes the critical lack of guidance in this area and is literally writing a book on this topic.
