We are located in Green River, just south of the Book Cliffs, near Moab right off Interstate 70, one mile in town off exit 160 from the west and 3 miles in town off exit 164 from the east.
The Robbers Roost Motel is an historic building built in the 1940's that has been a family owned and operated business since that time. The motel is named after a historical landmark close to Green River where the Wild Bunch i.e. Butch Casidy, Sundance Kid, etc. used to hide out in the very early 1900s near the San Rafael Swell, which is about 50 miles southwest of the motel's location.

We are open 9am - 11pm midnight Monday through Saturdays and closed on Sundays (except for reservations). We are a family owned and operated motel, so we might be out of the office, but if you do call and we don't answer please leave a message and we will call you back. For your comfort, regardless of season and weather, we have HV/AC units in each of our rooms.
There's so much to do around Green River you'll never want to leave. We have river rafting, national parks, state parks, rock climbing, mountain biking, scenic flights, horseback riding, hiking and more all within 60 miles of your hotel room. Every time I return I can't help but notice the upgrades but more important is the friendly attitude offered by you & your wife. Very quaint motel! The owners are very kind and super friendly. They gave suggestions on what to do while in Green River giving us some fun recommendations for our stay. The motel was a great place to return to after a full day of exploring. The motel has your basic needs, good parking, and quiet rooms. We are always happy to support small businesses and super happy we bumped into the Robbers Roost Motel. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks to the owners who made our stay enjoyable! You are seriously the best!
