Dragon Star Chinese Restaurant

I looove Chinese food and specifically I love me some general tso’s chicken. Everywhere else I’ve tried in the area is rather repulsive. Dragon Star says they use white meat chicken, and it certainly is!! Absolutely delicious and such a relief to not wonder if I’m eating pigeon or….
They also make their own duck sauce which is fantastic. Always been polite and prompt. Great service.

The best Chinese food I've had in years reminds me of old favorites that are not around anymore

Disgusting smell walking threw the door, the place looks abandoned and dirty! 😝 The food was ok but I was worried about the condition of the kitchen, they keep it hidden behind a curtain. It was just gross.

I went to this assblishment for dinner and was charged $30.00 for my food. instead of runnig the gift card I was using to pay for the food normally, the women made a refund without a sale first. Then she proceeded to run my card 5 more times, draining all of the money on it. Then refused to give back my money she took.

Very friendly staff and generous portions, but our take out meal was disappointing.
Moo shi Pork seemed to be 98% over cooked shredded cabbage with 5 tiny slivers of pork in the container. Egg rolls were tasteless and filled with cabbage and only a few crumbles of something else that might have been shrimp or pork.
The spicy Garlic Chicken did have a very nice flavor , but the veggies were over cooked to a mushy state.
Not sure I will give Dragon Star a second chance.

We used to love this place but recently we had a issue with food quality and we were told that they knew of the issue and they lost money also and that they don't feel the need to refund us our money since they lost money as well. Served rancid food with no refund since they lost money also!!

Why have I not left a raving review before now?? I moved to Concord in 2006 and was recommended a couple other places that I did not like, then I was craving my hometown Chinese food and I asked somebody else and they suggested Dragon Star, they said they loved it! Well so do I. I've only been to one other place since and there's no comparison that place was disgusting I love Dragon Star the food is always fresh, it is priced right and they give you so much!! I usually get Chinese food a couple times a year and this is the only place I will go and in the 15 years I've lived in this area I've only

The food has always been very good but after the last order I placed on Thursday I wont ever order again. They gave me the wrong order, came back to my house and took the food back THAT I HAD ALREADY TOUCHED, and delivered it to my neighbor as their order..never ever ever EVER going to order from there again after seeing that.

Been going here for many many years and hands down best takeout in the area. Great deals on lunch specials and dinner combos. Very nice family runs this fine establishment. The general tso’s dinner special is my favorite.

I had a few minutes and had been craving fried rice for about two weeks so i stopped in for a quick order of house fried rice to go, I was the only customer there sitting my order but getting the pint of rice took about 15 minutes then when I get home and open it up i was immediately able to discern that they were out of fried rice at the moment and in a hasty corner cutting move to fill my order they decided to take white rice and mix it with the meat and vegetable fillings of house rice and put it in a container and send me on my way.
