Back in August of 2019 I met with Doctor Leon Reber regarding a very painful right ankle that I seriously injured two times within 2 months. I injured it 44 years ago. Being very large most of my life caused the ankle to become much worse over time. The pain was so bad I could hardly walk on it. Dr. Reber was very up front with me, informing that I would have to have two surgeries, be non-weight bearing for 5 to 6 months, using a scooter to get around. And then a walking boot for the next 2 months. If the surgery was to reconstruct the ankle and depending on it my ankle would be stable and

The dedication by the staff to me personally was phenomenal, I went in with a severe toe infection and upon initial inspection they weren't sure they were going to able to save my big toe! It was only due to the skill and compassion of Dr. Smith that my toe was saved! He even came in on weekends to meet with me at his office so he could continue to administer care and medications to my toe!

The entire bottom half of my right big toe had to be cut away to remove the infection, Dr. Smith was not about to give up, and after several weeks of intensive care having me come in to the office every

I took my 93-year-old mother back to the Foot & Ankle Institute because she hadn't been in for three years. She was charged, prior to adjustments, $782.88: $303.38 to the podiatrist; $89.72 to debride 6 or more nails; $213.66 for a new patient visit; $88.06 to the podiatrist; and another $88.06 for a follow-up visit. She was charged for a follow-up that should have been included in the initial costs! And this was to have her toe nails cut and filed down (with a Dremel drill--which I have at home!). Her big toe hasn't recovered since the initial May 15, 2019, visit; if I could, I&apos
