As the need for environmental services in the early 1980's arose due to new federal regulations, Jones Environmental Inc. (JEI) was established in Shreveport, Louisiana. JEI has maintained its Response Action Contractor (RAC) status in Louisiana for over 20 years. Initially, JEI primarily specialized in emergency spill response (hazardous & non-hazardous).
Since that time JEI has become well staffed and equipped to manage a much broader scope of environmental issues. JEI has maintained a solid relationship with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ), Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ), Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), and Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ).

Spanning 3 generations, the Jones Family has serviced the environmental & UST needs of the Ark-La-Tex areas for over 70 years. In 1937 Fred and W.D. Jones established operations in New Orleans, Louisiana specializing in the installation and servicing of underground storage tanks and piping. In 1953, the brothers incorporated as Jones Brothers Company (JBC) in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Jones Environmental's experienced staff consists of qualified and licensed individuals who maintain a supportive and professional attitude. JEI's staff of Professional Geologists, Environmental Scientists, and Environmental Technicians is specialized in managing specific Underground Storage Tank (UST) and compliance issues.
JEI is a Response Action Contractor (RAC) in the state of Louisiana and a Registered Corrective Action Specialist (RCAS) in the state of Texas. JEI's client base ranges from single UST services to multi-million dollar UST operations. JEI is fully licensed, insured, & bonded to perform UST services in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, & Texas.
JEI offers services for fluid hauling, treatment, and disposal throughout the Ark-La-Tex areas. Vacuum Truck Services - JEI owns and operates multiple DOT compliant vacuum vehicles, which has the capability for removal of non-hazardous and certain hazardous materials. Fluid and Sludge Treatment/Disposal - JEI maintains a permitted waste water treatment facility which specializes in the treatment of hydrocarbon impacted fluids.
