Our immigration lawyers have extensive experience helping both individual and corporate clients navigate the immigration process in the United States. With three North Carolina Board Certified Immigration Specialists, locations across North Carolina, and an exclusive focus on immigration law, we are ready to help you achieve your American dream.
Our standard walk-in hours are 2pm to 4pm on Monday through Friday. All current clients are encouraged to use our walk-in hours. During our walk-in hours, a paralegal is available to make copies of evidence, address case questions, and take payments for current clients. Clients are seen on a first come, first served basis.

So far (as of Oct.11th, 2021) the transition from Yañez Imigration Law to McKinney Imigration Law has been very confusing and frustrating. I will make an appointment to speak to someone and hopefully we can get things straightened out, so that we are all on the same page.

I spoke to the paralegal. She was able to explain everhing to me. She was nice and very patient (I had my toddler crying in the background). She was willing to answer any questions I had and said that if I had any other questions I was welcome to call and ask.

Hired them to help with a fiancee visa. Paid the substantial fee and they completely passed it off to the local U.S. Representative to follow up. Which they did successfully. I'm not aware if McKinney actually did anything. But the gripe is, about 2 years later, tried to contact them represent in the Change of Status of Green Card. They did not respond to emails or to the contact form in the website. Why have the contact form? Why have email addresses if you are not going to respond. Clearly demonstates either they don't want or need the business or are very disorganized. I'm sure there are other

The firm was contracted to perform services on my behalf. I made my deposit promptly. In fact, I made 60% instead of the required 50%. I heard nothing from anyone one not even the assigned paralegal. I had to contact the firm repeatedly (17 calls over two days). Voicemails were left, emails were sent. It was as if once money was collected that was it. They were nice and accommodating prior and once money was collected that changed. Due to the lack of service and communication, requested a refund. I was told I would receive a refund less $500, as there was a charge of $250 each for me and my son

Being first hand to see my mom struggle with her immigration process to obtain her residency she hired 2 other lawyers and they just took her money and literally told her that her case was hard and can’t be won cause of her order if deportation until we found Jeremy McKinney who made everything possible and my mom obtained her residency! He was really nice and professional and wanted to help my mom he met the whole family and saw who he actually was really helping out this happened 10 years ago and he is still doing the same today fighting hard for those who deserve the American Dream 🙏🏼

Where do I begin? You might think that this is another negative review that someone, like me, is posting because I didn't get my way or what I want it.
No, this is really the worst review I have ever written in a business. Long story short, they helped me become a citizen but in the process they almost screw it up. At one point, in a follow up appointment, the assistant to the attorney started reading a file that was not mine.
I know, you might think that it's an honest mistake but the fact that some of my personal information was mixed up with someone else's file that had a similar name like

Please don’t waste your money and time with this law office. Once you pay, there is no service at all. They avoid you and your case will not be handled promptly. They just keep giving you excuses and tell you to wait around and never actually do anything to help you with case. I did all the work to get my case finalized.
