Over priced and on the sketchy side. The staff don't seem to be in any hurry to get you taken care of, so be prepared to sit around for 2 to 3 hours. Most staff doesn't look to be the most trusting. And for a general check up or a very low noninvasive procedure your looking at $60 out of pocket with insurance... I am college student I gone to other hospitals before for more invacie procedures and was given better, cleaner, and modern service, then this place it crazy to think this place has made it to the bare minimum of the standard.... I am literally sitting in the lobby rn,watching a lady gasping

I want to express how grateful I am for this emergency room. I was dealing with withdrawal from paxil, a medication used to treat bipolar depression and anxiety. I had been without my medication for 6 days due to relocating and trying to get insurance and doctors together. I went in in a state of desperation as the intensified anxiety was making it very hard for me to function. They were nice enough to see me treat me medicate me in house and send a script to the pharmacy so I could get it back in my system while getting appointments. Thank you from the bottom of my heart NRMC!!!

I had day surgery at this facility a day ago. There were no bad experiences anywhere. Admitting, tests, surgery, everything was very clean. The surgery staff couldn't have been any better, friendly, professional, accommodating to your needs. First anesthestion to put me to sleep without complications.

This will be a good place for your medical care if it was under better management. Staff is unfriendly, and manager is bias & all the Doctors surprisedly stand by her because she’s a wife of a surgeon there! Very unprofessional and unethical and a conflict of interest. All of her staff are intimidated by her!

I almost died from a surgery at natchitoches parish hospital, because Kenneth L Perego did not induce any antibiotics while having surgery. Then lied on my release forms so I couldn't get any antibiotics or pain management during or after surgery. The staff was rude in day surgery and also violated my HIPPA rights multiple times.
I ended up at oschner hospital in Shreveport in around 48hrs after perego's 12mm kidney stone removal, hours from death from sepsis from no antibiotics!!
I would not recommend anyone to have a surgery at this hospital!!
I do believe that natchitoches parish hospital

Today I had my second gestational diabetes test. If you don’t know, if you fail your first test you have take a several hour second test, that is preceded by fasting for 12 hours, with four blood draws. It was not fun, but I want to say that Natasha Jackson at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center OBGYN Clinic is an awesome human and practice manager. She could see I was really struggling after the third blood draw, so she came and sat with me, and made sure I was okay. She chatted with me for a while until my focus was no longer on the situation. She was able to help me get through the next part

My neighbor that I take care of was sent to the hospital due to her blood sugar levels being dangerously low. She was in a diabetic coma like state. She had wet herself, couldn't speak or anything like that. She is also on dialysis. I brought her machine and supplies thinking she was gonna get taking care of as well as her walker and phone. They kept calling for me to come and do her dialysis at the hospital. I was working. They should have found someone at the dialysis center to perform the treatment! And since they couldn't get a hold of me they sent her home in an ambulance after 3 days of being

I brought my son who was a 28 week preemie in. He had been diagnosed with Reactive Airway disease, and additionally was very sick. Our pediatrician was adamant if we even suspected he was having breathing issues to bring him to the hospital. We couldn’t get a pulse oxygen reading on him and felt like he was wheezing so
we brought him in to the ER as our pediatrician had requested. We then sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before a nurse came out and performed a pulse ox reading on him the entire process took less than 30 seconds. He was actually breathing well and we decided not to be seen
