Services
Since 1980, AFG Music has been the center of music education, performance, and instrument rentals and repairs in the heart of Orange County. From our Costa Mesa base, we have a staff of professional musicians who encourage and support music in the community, at every level. We work with grade schools, high schools, various community and professional bands, orchestras and ensembles, and play and teach solo performance.

I started taking weekly guitar lessons from Fred at AFG Music a little less than a year ago. My music lessons are my favorite time of the week! Fred’s vast musical knowledge and guitar expertise have facilitated my steady improvement. I’m always excited for my next music lesson!

The breadth and depth of music instruction and insight available at AFG Music is amazing. Whatever genre you want to learn, and whatever level you are at - absolute rank beginner to seasoned professional - they are ready to work with you. Especially good with kids, and with adults who are young at heart. It would be a mistake to not give AFG Music a look when you want music lessons or instrument repair.

I am a long term customer of AFG music. I had one son who learned guitar from Fred. Another son learned Drums there from Jon. My granddaughter is taking piano lessons there now from Anita, and I took violin lessons from Fred.
I have been with AFG long enough to feel that they are the nicest, most ethical, and fair people anywhere. Their prices are fair, and they are professionals who love music and do a great job teaching.
It doesn't seem to matter what instrument you want to learn, someone there can teach it. Guitar and keyboards, for sure. Strings (violin, viola, cello), yep. Drums
