We hope you'll browse the site to find out what makes Generations Dental unique and one of the most recommended small dental groups in Southeast Wisconsin. We are truly a "family" practice. Dr. Jim and his daughter, Dr. Kelly, have provided two generations of dental care, serving the Lake Country area for more than 30 years.

We help people maintain their teeth for a lifetime. Your dental treatment is all about you. We listen and respect your choices to develop a personalized care plan. We're committed to lifelong training and offer more services in-house than most family dentists at a great value. At Generations Dental our goal is to make everyone feel like part of the family.
Services
A gentle thorough exam, comfortable innovative diagnostics, findings explained in real terms with visuals you can understand, and treatment and preventive options that fit your desires and lifestyle. See how understanding your "risk profiles", creating a healthy oral balance, and employing easy preventive strategies can save you time, money, and aggravation in the long run.
Dentistry is very personal. You've got someone up close, in your "space", taking control, working in an area of your body that you'd rather have left alone. We get all that. We've felt that way ourselves in health care settings. That's why at Generations Dental we want to put the person, you, back at the center of personal dental care.
Everyone wants a beautiful, healthy smile. In fact we think you deserve one. Unfortunately there are a great number of factors always working against us to tarnish or damage that smile. That's why at Generations Dental we make preventive care our highest priority. The best and most cost effective way to treat dental disease is to attack it before it happens.
Dental caries is the bacterial infection of the mouth which eventually leads to breakdown of teeth to form dental decay or cavities (holes) in your teeth. Cavities occur when risk factors for disease outweigh the protective factors for health. Dental caries is the number one disease (of all diseases) to affect children and is still the leading cause of tooth loss in all age groups.
We all strive to achieve a healthy balance in most aspects of our lives and it really is no different for our oral health. In the past dentistry was more reactive to oral disease, fixing the problems as they were noticed. More now than ever we have available viable preventive options for those who wish to be more proactive in halting, reducing, and eliminating their future oral disease.

I was able to quickly get in after an old filling came out over the weekend. Dr. Jim and staff were able to quickly work me in for a new crown. Great worksmanship and fit. THe staff is wonderful and they are obviously careful with their COVID safety practices

I visited generations dental today.... for The LAST TIME!!!!!
The staff and doctors are nice, but they provided me with inaccurate estimated charges for some dental work. My actual bill was 3 times their estimate AND THE DID NOTHING TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. No apologies, little remorse for THEIR ERROR and no offer to share in the financial damages. Very poor customer service. If they treat all their customers as they treated me, they will be out of business soon!

Dr. Kelly examined my mouth and cleaned my teeth with a feather touch. As usual, I had a very pleasant and positive experience. Staff is polite, friendly and engaging. I highly recommend Generations Dental!

I cannot speak more highly of the experience I had at Dr. Jim's office. I was my first visit as a new patient and I would not change anything. It was probably one of the best, most thorough experiences I have had at the Dentist. Dr. Jim's team uses new technology in ways that involve the patient in the whole process and allows the patient to truly understand what the dentist is talking about when he assesses ones mouth and teeth. Great experience! I highly recommend him.
