Exciting Windows! by Couture by Karen is a locally owned and operated window treatment company based in Monroe, MI, that provides a variety of high-quality treatments for windows, including, draperies, shutters, shades, and blinds. Since we first opened our doors back in 1979, we have prided ourselves on providing our customers with high-quality window fashions that transform old and boring windows into a focal point within the home.
Karen is the sole owner of the company. Karen has a degree in Fashion Design, is a Certified Color Specialist and a Certified Hunter Douglas Installer. Karen has a keen eye for making your house a home with beautiful window treatments. If you can think it, Karen can fabricate it. Karen also works seamlessly between residential and commercial projects.
Exciting Windows! by Couture by Karen, is a "Shop at Home" retailer of custom drapery, blinds, shades, shutters and custom bedding. We are centrally located between the metropolitan areas of Detroit, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio. We are authorized dealers of Hunter Douglas, Graber, Comfortex and Norman Shutters.

Karen and her entire staff are friendly, professional and thorough. I had several windows that needed blinds. When Karen and Colleen came out they were such a help. They gave suggestions and helped me make final decisions, which I am not good at, but I never felt that I was being “pushed” into anything. The blinds came when expected, were hung quickly with no mess and look beautiful! Already have her coming back for another job. All around great business

I loved my window treatments from my last house. I called the person who had ordered them. She no longer had this product. I called another person and they also did not have my roman shades. I put an inquiry out on Google and Karen called me right away. She was able to help me find the Roman shades I had previously. they were installed today by a very nice young man. He was prompt and installed them very quickly and accurately. The last time I had them installed they needed to be reinstalled. This was a lovely experience and needless to say I love my relaxed roman shades.
