I’ve been going for what appears to be coming up to a year now.
The first phone call was a relief, I was welcomed by a friendly voice, that I found myself looking forward to hearing over the course of this past year. The first visit Dr. Moore listened. A critical moment for me. What I valued most was that I was never pressured into what I wasn’t comfortable with, I was able to voice my concerns and I was encouraged from a professional perspective by him. This gave me room to take in a deep breath and go at a pace I was okay with. Through my outside therapist I put in the work, but I am able

I have only dealt with Mr. Moore who has been wonderful. I was coming off a bad bad bout of depression and anxiety and Mr. Moore put me on a new medication which has changed my life. After years of coping with anxiety I am a new person. Mr. Moore listens and trusts your own assessment of your mental health situation. The combination of this medication and seeing a therapist has turned my life around. The office staff is responsive, kind, and prompt.

I was trying to become a new patient. I went in for the first appointment and the front receptionist was SO RUDE.
When I gave them my insurance information, they were unable to accept my type (Anthem blue, even though its listed online). In the end, I was happy how things worked out, so I can go to another place were I feel welcomed.
UPDATE: The receptionist called to see if I wanted to cancel my appt on Monday. I said yes. Then the doctor proceeded to get on the phone and yell, "You were never my patient! I will sue you." And then i heard his phone go click. The receptionist did even know what

This is the worst place on earth! I went to this place in 2017, when i suffered from depression, i was prescribed anti depressants, that didn't work at all, they just made me sleep 12+ hours a day and gave me too much medication so i started having shaking, convulsions, and my depression and issues just went from bad to worse. The doctors didn't seem to know what they were doing, i honestly don't know how they even got a degree. I learned and got more help by going on online blogs than from those losers at this place. Thanks to the over prescription of the medication they gave me

Terrible experience. My wife was seeing him for a few months. It seems that all the office cared about was to set the next appointment so they can run the bill. He switched medications for my spouse, she couldn't sleep for 3 days, called the office to speak to the doctor who didn't get back to her. I called after 48 hrs again, that time the secretary called to say that instead of the follow up appointment for the end of the month, let's set one up for the following day so they can run our credit card again instead of Doctor calling back since patient hasn't slept for a few days

On my initial appointment, all I got was a 5 minute chat with a physician's assistant and not even a chat with the doctor.
And it's during the pandemic and this guy wasn't even wearing a mask.
His phone number has been going straight to voicemail for days, and the voicemail mailbox is full so I can't even leave a message.
It's rare that I'm annoyed enough to write yelp reviews, but Ziyar has been just that frustrating of an experience.

Update, I was fired as a patient for posting this review. Does he realize that it's illegal to arbitrarily fire a patient?Especially one that is still in treatment and in crisis. It's called negligence, possibly gross negligence. If I were to be admitted to a hospital because he didn't take care of my refills, he'll be in a heap of trouble. He's already been cited and put on probation for having two patients under his care commit suicide. There are specific things that need to be done in regards to letting a patient go. Like establishing a new doc for me. Keeping my scripts

I am very grateful to have found Dr. Ziyar. I have been seeing him for a little over a year now. He is very nice, friendly, smart, and comforting. His office staff are amazing as well. When I was scheduling an appointment, they were helpful and was able to accommodate to fit me in Dr. Ziyar's busy schedule.
Dr Ziyar does so much more than just giving me medication. He is a therapist who helps me discover answers to my life. Thank you Dr. Ziyar!

If I could, I would give negative stars. Dr. Ziyar does not seem to care about his patients; but just wants the consultation money. He prescribed me medications for alcohol withdrawals which were not at all the correct dosage according to Fresno community hospital specialists. I went back and told him and he still refused me. He did not even see me until I asked the nurse practitioner if I could speak with the Doctor. He sent me on my way with withdrawals and no recommendations to go anywhere else. He just shrugged his shoulders and let me go. No wonder two of his patients have died under his care

I have never felt so belittled as I did today after being categorized as "one of those people" when I was told he was taking me off two medications. Once I stated that I clearly had a problem because I was making a big deal about it in an emotional manner, after all I do have emotional problems. I asked him, if I get a job while off the medication and lose the job due to mental instability, he had the audacity to tell me he believed I would sabotage myself to purposely get fired. I have never been talked down to in such a way by a professional as this man did today. I left the office

Dr. Zayir is lying. I'm sure his degree insulates him but my review was spot on. You only saw me for 10 minutes. Told me all you do is prescribe medications and when asked about alternatives and side effects you asked me to leave your office. You were dismissive and indeed rude. Your broken english was not a personal attack. You can attempt to deflect but there are other reviewers who see you for the rapacious pharmaceutical peddler that you are. You are e everything that is wrong with medicine today. You worsened my depression and had another patient just outside the door listening to our

The billing service that this doctor uses is not knowledgable enough to represent the office. This doctor is listed as a contracted provider for Anthem Blue Cross, one of the largest carriers but his office says " we don't take that insurance". What a loss, as Blue Cross is very large and especially in the Fresno area. Who wouldn't want a PPO Blue Cross plan? The doctor also dictates who he sees and which insurance he will accept or not. Very difficult to get refills also.
