Wat Buddhametta Tucson is a community of fellowship where you can find peace, joy and acceptance wherever you are on your spiritual journey. Although I was only there for one weekend, I feel as though I can always go back and be among friends. It was an honor to spend time with Master Ajan Sarayut Amanta on the weekend my son Wayne was to become a Novice Buddhist Monk. I know his spirit is still with you.

I Highly recommend for meditation and food. Their happy, kind, generous, and loving monks. Listen with their hearts and show compassion regarding all topics. I wonder what they’ll teach me next. 😂

The founder and Abbot of this , the most successful of the Thai Buddhist temples in Tucson, Ajahn Sarayut, is very welcoming and helpful to newbies looking for instruction in meditation and Dharma studies. There are Americans in addition to local Thai families attending services regularly. Don't miss their monthly Thai food buffet . It's a little taste of
Thai culture , in the heart of the Old Pueblo ! Highly recommended !

Wat Buddhametta is a welcoming, inclusive place to practice, to learn, and to find community. The Wat offers a number of both beginning mindfulness meditation classes and silent sessions for experienced meditators. There are opportunities to learn chanting in Pali as well as Sunday morning ceremony each week. Wat Buddhametta has been my spiritual home for the past four plus years. Check out the web site for more information, upcoming events, and photos. Sadhu🙏

The Monks are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They host guided meditations each week for beginners which makes this place accessable to all. To top it off there is a wonderful garden and two very lovable dogs, Metta and Junior. Go check it out! You won't regret it.
