Campbell Newman was founded in 1977 and has long been known as a high-quality growth stock manager. Our current management and investment staff has been in place since 2003. While the firm has successfully transitioned management and ownership to its second generation, the Campbell Newman name was retained in honor of company founders, Leonard Campbell, Jr. and Raymond F. Newman.
Our portfolio management team has worked together since 2005, and each member has over 30 years of industry experience. The team's shared goal is to deliver the expected investment results and excellent client service. Mary C. Brown, CFA, President, has over 30 years experience in the investment management industry.

A long-only, capital appreciation focused, small cap growth equity strategy invested exclusively in companies displaying profitability to build a diversified, high-conviction portfolio of 40-55 stocks with market capitalizations generally between $200 million and $7 billion.

The investment objective of the Small Cap Growth strategy is to outperform its Russell 2000 Growth Index over a full market cycle and at lower levels of risk, as defined by the standard deviation of returns.The Small Cap Growth strategy uses a company's profitability as tangible evidence of the viability of a company's business model, increasing the probability of sustainable earnings growth and price appreciation.
