In store I've always had a great experience. Placed an online order mid December 2021 with an estimated arrival date early January 2022. No shipping updates came through so I emailed and they said they'll ship within a few days and were holding off due to the cold. Again, no shipping info. I've emailed twice since and called with no answer or response. I can't seem to get ahold of anyone to see if I can get a refund or if I'll ever receive over $100 in plants. Really disappointing they've gone dark with no communication, 5 weeks later.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I purchased 30 branded pots from Desk Plants for corporate gifting on behalf of my company. They agreed to send plants to customers on a drop ship basis - I sent nine across the US when it was brought to my attention that the plants received were low quality and embarrassing. I spoke with the owner Lawrence who apologised perfusely and asked for an opportunity to make it right. I then requested they send a living plant to my next customer, which took them two weeks to execute. At this point, I just wanted my money back. Which Lawerence agreed to. It's been one

If I could give them a 0 Starts, I would. Where to start, I recently purchased 3 plants from this place during a Big event called Le Garage Sale at the Palmer Center. Upon returning home with my plants, and not watering them, as instructed, since they had recently done so, each of the 3 plants just started to decay and show signs of root rot. See pictures of the most recent. I'm still trying to save the other two.

This place sells you dead plants form the get-go for super expensive prices and then do not own up to it or try to make things right. I have reached out to them on various platform

Their hours on their DOOR says open until 8:00p. So upon arriving tonight at 7:05p, imagine our disappointment. Desk Plants, please update your decal door signage. That's false advertising.

Fraudulent company. Do not buy from them online. Absolutely terrible experience.

I bought two plants online and paid for two day shipping. They charged my credit card immediately. After two weeks went by I reached out to see when they would ship. No response after weeks and more emails. Finally I emailed and said I would cancel my order. That's when I get this response about how sorry he is and that he'll make it right and get them right out. Also telling me he'd throw in a free plant as well. I like to support small businesses so I agreed.

They shipped ground (not 2day that

Do not order online. Plants came completely dead, one as a soggy mush, the other completely crisp. Snake plant was the only one half-living, yet with no dirt and leaves broken. No email responses for weeks so far. Support them offline, but don't buy online.

Maybe their store is fine in person, but do not order anything from their website. I placed an order online on January 2nd knowing it would take up to 5 days for them to process the order. They charged my credit card immediately but never processed the order itself. I have tried contacting them twice and got no response. Needless to say I will never buy from them again, nor will I recommend them to any of my friends/family.

Unfortunately, no one will respond to my email I sent to support. The item will arrive after 2 weeks, though I wish the site would show a delivery window. I didn't realize it would be this long, and during this time, the person I gifted this to moved locations. I'm unable to adjust the shipping with the carrier. I have to be the sender (which is Desk Plants). Due to my experience, I sadly cannot recommend their services or use them corporately, even if I get quite a lot of marketing emails asking us to consider them corporately.

DO NOT GO IF CONCRRNED WITH COVID!
Customer service does not exist. I came in the store, was never asked for help. Another cust walks in after and they went to that cust.

Then, I am looking at plants. The girl who works there and cust boxed me in amd asked me to move with no where to turnaround without bumping into them.

This store is clueless. Do not shop there!

Friendly staff, beautiful store, and a plethora of plant options! It isn't the cheapest option, but the I can justify it given the quality, convenience, and company values.

Have purchased several plants from them and they are all very hearty, happy, and healthy. The pots are also stylish & light-weight.

I think Desk Plants has a lot of potential. It was really nice being able to shop in a "boutique style" plant shop after visiting the other good stores that The Domain has to offer. It seems like they have a good amount of unique plants, but are fairly expensive. I spent about $130 on 4 plants. I wasn't completely shocked...it IS at The Domain. I can't really compare pricing with other plant shops because I am just honestly not sure how much plants run for. I think the shop felt a little disorganized in the sense that things aren't necessarily clearly marked with a

The team at Desk Plants, helped me find my perfect plant! I have killed plants before and am trying to break the cycle. While checking out I was given a care card on water and sunlight. This little beauty lights up our kitchen while purifying the space. Thank you for planting our flower child!

My order took over 2 weeks just to ship, cost well over $100. The plants arrived sad and broken! I love to support small businesses so I emailed them before writing a review. Its been a week and I haven't even gotten an email back, so clearly they don't care when their customers are unhappy. I recommend people shop for plants on Etsy, I've had much better experiences with the sellers

****UPDATE**** after still not hearing from them, I commented on their photo on Instagram, saying I've had issues, they wrote back saying they had issues with their email which is a lie, AND

Desk plants is awesome. They really know their stuff and are incredibly helpful in keeping your plants alive.
Each plant is sold with a little card with care instructions specific to that plant and it includes an email address where you can ask questions if something isn't going right. But everything has been going great for me, so much so that my plant has a baby growing! This is not my usual experience with plants, unfortunately. I emailed to ask how to separate the plants and they gave detailed instructions on how to do it. Definitely a cool business model that really follows through.

Hi All,

Glad to let everyone know that I was able to finally get in contact with a rep from the store and get a refund for the shipping. I do appreciate that very much. Added, I learned that they're shipping is no longer $10 flat (not sure if or when they updated that on their website or what the shipping is). What I appreciated the most in this communication as well was there explanation that the shipping has changed in an effort to try to mitigate financial loss and refrain from any layoff's (especially during such an unprecedented time). I do want to walk back my statement made in

To add to my 20+ collection of indoor house plants I have, I purchased a rubber tree plant from Desk Plants on 1/31.

As I wanted to separate the plant into 3 pots and make sure they were repotted with the correct technique and soil, I paid an additional fee to repot the rubber tree.

I never had a problem with gnats or fungal growth in any of my indoor house plants. However, all 3 repotted rubber tree plants started to grow white patches of fungus and attract gnats. The poor leaves have started to become affected by the fungi and gnats. Furthermore, my other indoor house plants are being infested

Desk plants are indeed hard to kill. We've had two healthy plants forever now and I can't remember the last time we watered them. At this point I just want to test the limit of how long it can survive with our abuse because frankly it is very impressive. I'm sorry to Lawrence that we are taking such bad care of the plants but these plants are tough. I'm just glad that I'm not gonna go to jail for neglecting a plant or social services come barging into our house.

When we first walked into the shop, I whispered to myself, "Wow. It's like an organized jungle in

I also made it out to the Desk Plants launch party and, not to discount Joy's experience because we all have our own perspective, I had a GREAT time. I got there around 6:30 (I think it started at 6?) and there was a ton of great food and most importantly GREAT PLANTS. It was super fun to browse and see all of the different options. I'm not NOT a plant person, but I'm not like super into them. I was trying to find some cute stuff for Christmas prezzies and Desk Plants had a ton of great options. I'm very good at killing things, and didn't have any trouble finding an employee
