DMR Adventures
DMR Adventures provides professional performing arts training from the professionals. The high caliber of training serves to drive passion, discipline, and commitment in the students with whom we work. Part of this training includes a mentorship program, the Youth Leadership Program.

This program allows driven students with an interest in leadership the opportunity to handle responsibilities as members of the creative or technical team on productions and assist or lead classes. We are thrillled that Deon will be our first Resident Broadway Guest Artist. We are filled with gratitude to welcome Paula Chanda, our new Associate Artistic Director to DMR Adventures and to Charlottesville.
Services
Small businesses like DMR Adventures are calling their supporters to action in this unprecedented time. We are very grateful to have had many members of our community ask, "How can I help?". Below is a list of how you can help DMR Adventures. We thank you in advance for your assistance and we wish you good health!
DMR Adventures is proud to present the second episode of the Black Lives On Stage Matter (BLOSM) Livestream Series, hosted and created by Denise Folley, Xavier Taylor, Regan Sims, and Kolby Kindle. This recurring livestream series will create discussions on how to decolonize white theatre and give viewers an exciting look at Black contribution to theatre - past and present.
We are looking for an assistant for our performing arts after school program based in Belmont -- we are growing quickly! We need help from 2:00-6:00 Monday-Friday with some more opportunities as well (day camps on school days off and possible weekend or some later evening hours for the right person, especially someone also capable of office management/admin).
The DMR Adventures Youth Leadership Program (YLP) has been at the core of our programming for the last eleven years, providing long-lasting relationships and impactful training -- many YLP members have established their own artistic programming, have produced educational opportunities within their respective communities, and most importantly, have gone on to serve as mentors.
I willingly give my permission for my child to engage in camps, classes and other events in and as part of DMR Adventures. My child is allowed to leave the DMR Studio unsupervised at the end of rehearsal/class/camp. By answering yes to either of the questions above, you agree that once your child leaves the DMR Studio, DMR Adventures is no longer responsible for them.

My daughter has been attending various DMR programs for about 4 years now. We started there after her piano teacher suggested it as an alternative since she had a hard time just sitting at the piano. It was the best suggestion ever. She has grown as a singer, dancer, actor and most importantly a human being! The staff is amazing especially during COVID. They have found ways to do musicals virtually and have just started a few small, socially distanced in person classes. All the instructors have impressive resumes themselves and promote a positive atmosphere in which to learn and grow. I highly
