The Kirishian family were originally established in Armenia, where they created beautiful woven oriental rugs to sell.
Their lives were drastically changed in 1915, as the Armenian people were overtaken by the Turkish people and faced harsh Ottoman rule. Despite the growing threats and hostility, the Kirishian family continued to create intricate sample rugs, and in an effort for a better life, sent a piece of one to the Turkish ambassador.

My family had Ben over to appraise our rugs and it was a fantastic experience. He was so incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and professional. We had such a great time hearing everything he was able to tell us. He also was incredibly generous with his time and so gracious when I called back with more questions. I can’t recommend this place enough, they went above and beyond. We will absolutely be returning whenever we need to get our rugs cleaned.
