Atomic Tattoo was founded in 1992. Through the years we have evolved into a multi-location tattoo venue. Even with our multiple locations, Atomic Tattoo continues to operate as a family-owned and operated business being managed on a daily basis by Larry's oldest son, Justin. I'm on my third tattoo, but this was my first time going to Atomic. I was a walk-in but had already looked into artists. Alex (Smith) might just be the coolest tattoo artist I've ever met. He worked with me over and over again to make sure that I got not just what I wanted, but also that my tattoo would look good over the long-term. As someone who's had bad tattoos (or tattoos that look great at first and then blur over time) please understand that if your artist takes the time to explain to you what will and won't work, know that you're in good hands. I got my rook piercing here 3 months ago and it was a very great experience. It has healed so nicely and I have had no issues with the piercing at all. The piercer and staff were all super nice and welcoming, they seemed knowledgeable and everything was ran efficiently and COVID safe. I also got a septum nose ring to replace my old one and it was very high quality, expensive since it was gold but still high quality and very happy with my purchase. I would definitely come back to get another peircing and maybe a tattoo.

My best friend and I got our cartilages pierced yesterday on a whim. From calling the shop to going in I was literally amazed with how friendly and professional the shop was. The process was super clean and the piercer took their time to make sure we both absolutely loved the placement of the studs. They email the after care to you so there's no chance of losing a piece of paper which I also thought was really amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place and I'll go back for any future piercings.

I took my girls here due to several recommendations and a girlfriend took her daughter last week... when I showed up I had scans of their birth certificates. I was rudely told they had to be physical copies. Ok, that is my bad- but then I was told I had to have an ID for them also, could be school id passport etc. My friend only gave birth certificates, and dshs and other piercing places I called say we only need birth certificate by law. It felt weird and I was pretty annoyed at the discrepancies. I wouldn't waste my time assuming why I was treated differently, but do know I'll take

If you're looking for a piercing Andy Vega is the person to go to! He was super sweet to me and made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Even when I got nervous he kept a confident calm aura that definitely eased me.
I mentioned I get dizzy easily and he had a plan on deck immediately. The clamps weren't going to work with my little nose, so he told me he had to free hand but assured me and went lengths to make it as painless as possible. And it was honestly PAINLESS. I'm healing very well and couldn't be happier with the experience overall. 1000 stars if I could.

I went to Atomic Tattoo on North Burnet for a septum piercing. I can not recommend Andy the Piercer enough! He was extremely professional, provided excellent customer service, and walked me through every step of my piercing. I was in and out in ten minutes. You can make appointments with him through his Instagram too which is convenient.

I get it, tattoo shops might not care about Yelp reviews, but maybe the Owner will...maybe.
We walked in to get sentimental tattoos. We wanted white ink because of our jobs (board room and cannot have black ink, which we shared with him) and the conversation with the artist was unexceptional and deplorable. His advisement on what we should do was shaming us into not getting tattoos because were not already covered with them and didn't know the chemistry of tattoo ink as it reacts with the skin.
This is like a gym, just because folks are new and do not know what to do -- it doesn't

I had the pleasure of having Alex do my most recent tattoo on my wrist. Not only did he do a beautiful job, he offered suggestions to ensure the color lasted a long time and he captured the significance of this particular piece because of what it means to me. I had my nose pierced by a man last night (couldn't ask his name) at Atomic. For COVID, they sanitized my hands twice; once while I entered the store and once when I entered the piercing room. No accompanying people are allowed inside.
The man took a good 3 mins to scan my face and put a dot on where he wanted to pierce. He showed it to me and it was perfect! These guys really know what they are doing! All the needles, nose pins and tools used were freshly opened so 5 star for sanitization.
It took him literally 30 seconds to be done with the piercing. Their studs to pick from were also

First and foremost i gotta say 5/5 . I saw Emily today last minute to get my ears pierced and it was maybe 20-30 minutes of waiting. She was extremely kind, very efficient, and sterile. As someone who works in the healthcare industry i notice those kinds of things, and her setup was clean and ready. I didn't even feel the needle either which means she knows what she's doing! Can't wait to come back for more

I got a tattoo done by Mike Pain, it was my first machine tattoo, and as an 18 y/o female I was pretty nervous, but everyone I interacted with was SO, SO nice. The guy who did my tattoo was so respectful and playful and made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable. Very good work. I recommend ESPECIALLY for custom first tattoos, i literally couldn't have asked for a better experience.

My friends and I were visiting for the weekend and wanted to get some tattoos on our trip, so we went here. Everything seemed fine the first night I walked in. They were nice and Randy made me an appointment for the next day, since it was getting close to closing. I showed him a tattoo to base an idea off of (not to copy) and he said he'd have the sketch drawn up the next day. I came back and the sketch was fine, but he clearly tried to copy it exactly as it was. I said screw it, it looked nice. Seriously the worst mistake I have made in so long letting Randy tattoo my body. After 50 minutes
