I have two wildly lovely daughters who are my reason for existence. They're smart and witty and keep me in the moment, whether it's with our spontaneous kitchen dance-offs or reading books in our big bed for hours. I also have the Most Supportive Husband ever.

There's something so humbling about being a part of such an important, meaningful day in peoples' lives, and I leave literally every wedding I've ever photographed with moments I'll never forget. Weddings are what made me fall in love with photography, because all of us have lingered over an old wedding photo of our parents or grandparents, drawn in by the familiar rite of passage for so many people.
Only one: yours. I'm deeply invested in your wedding day, so I also keep a self-imposed cap on the number of weddings I photograph each month and year so that I'm never spreading myself too thin. I love to travel throughout the South and across the country (and worldwide too- my passport and I are ready when you are).
I like to keep things uncomplicated around here, so I don't hold your photos hostage. All of your final, edited, high-resolution images + a good-forever print release are always included. We can also talk about prints or albums or anything else that strikes your fancy.
And I'll remind you often through the process of working together for your wedding that any time you have a question about anything at all, I'm just an email (or phone call, or text) away!

When my fiancé and I started planning our elopement, we knew the first hire we needed to solidify was a photographer. Photographs were super important to us so we could share our experience with others once we got back home. From the beginning and throughout, Krista has been so easy to communicate with and made us feel very comfortable even though we would never meet in person until the day of. She helped us with scheduling our 6 hours together and even made precious recommendations for other trades and even locations. This was very helpful for us planning from out of town. If you’re considering booking Krista for your wedding, stop considering it and book her ASAP!
I didn’t know this at the time but Krista really was the key to our wedding planning going so smoothly.
The reason I initially reached out to Krista in the first place was that I really loved her organic use of lighting and her ability to capture candid moments of all her couples.
I was so thrilled when she agreed to do our destination wedding and she was quick to schedule a meeting and we were able to discuss together, how we envisioned the day would go (even a year and half in advance!)

Not only was Krista extremely talented with her photography work, her demeanor and professionalism while we were working together for both engagement and wedding photos were top notch. If you're like me, posing in front of a camera can be a bit awkward, but Krista made me feel comfortable and at ease, which resulted in photos that I am very happy with. I also cannot stress how important is is to feel like everyone you have incorporated into a big event like a wedding is on top of things, and Krista excelled at this. I valued her communication and her thoroughness, which both really made me trust

Krista did such an amazing job with our wedding photos. She's great at the standard family shots, but where she really shines is capturing the candid moments - the small things that make the day really special. Krista was very attentive prior to the wedding, and really delivered what we were looking for. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with a photographer.

Krista is an absolute pleasure to work with! I own a venue so I am constantly meeting and interacting with new vendors weekly. Krista photographed our first spring wedding and I could have not asked for a sweeter photographer or more skilled photographer! She has such a natural eye for light, poses, and backdrops. She made my bride the happiest she could be and that's what matters in the end, but her beautiful photography says a story within itself that is just as great.

Krista is amazing! While my (now) husband and I wanted a low key courthouse ceremony, we still wanted to have professional wedding photos. Many photographers' photo packages didn't fit our non-traditional wedding plans, but Krista's elopement package fit our needs perfectly, and she worked closely with us to make sure that things went smoothly. We were worried about feeling "watched" since we were only a group of 10, but Krista was so unobtrusive and laid back that we barely noticed we were being photographed! She captured the whole spirit of our day so beautifully. I would definitely recommend

I am SO thankful that we chose Krista to be our wedding photographer. As two very camera shy (and not always very photogenic) people, she made us feel comfortable and relaxed - also despite torrential rain and crazy families to deal with. The photos were even more beautiful than I had hoped. Bonus points for the quick turnaround, too. Her ability to capture the vibe and emotions (and funny expressions!) of the day is amazing. My only complaint is that I have too many photos I love to choose which to print :)
