I work at the Samaritan Center on Detroit's eastside. It is a very large facility (the former Mercy Hospital) which houses more that 70 programs to help people living in surrounding challenged neighborhoods. We wanted a magician for a fall community festival. I was having a difficult time finding a magician who could fill our desire to provide a magic show for small children and their families on short notice. I called The Grate Andy and he immediately said yes I can help. He arrived on-time, set up quickly and put on a great show that was welcomed by all from small children to very, very seniors

Andy was quite funny and very entertaining. We hired him for my daughter’s birthday party. There were kids ages 4-8 there. They all loved him. He was great at doing a trick, letting the kids think they know how it works, then doing something that showed they’re wrong, all while keeping it fun and funny. The kids ate it up. I was entertained as well. I will recommend him to others.

We had Andy perform at my daughter's 9th bday party and we had 17 children between ages 3 and 12 plus several adults. He kept kids and adults entertained and had kids articipate during the whole show as well. My whole neighborhood heard our laughter. I highly recommend. Andy responded to all of my questions quickly and made it very easy to work with him.

Looking for a fun and entertaining performance for all ages? Look no further. Book Andy now! He performed at my son's senior lock-in party as a walking magician and at a table for two hours. Teens and adults were thoroughly intrigued and Andy had them laughing and enjoying his magic tricks as he moved from group to group. Not only are his magic tricks fun to watch, his charismatic personality and humor make his show mesmerizing and unforgettable. I suggest booking longer than two hours since his show was over before we were ready, we were having that much fun!
