We can construct containers to meet specialty applications that may include prototypes and first articles, unique shapes, holes, ports, valves, materials or attachments to aid in your process. We would be happy to quote your design or offer suggestions to satisfy your objectives. Used as Vacuum Canisters, Architectural Hardware, Filter Housings, Machinery Components and limited only by the imagination.
PSI offers innovative solutions for packaging your high value, high purity, highly reactive, or other materials requiring special handling. We can offer UN Rating of these drums for both liquids and solids. What are these ratings? Our cone head drums have an outer barrel shape with an inner vessel closed with a cone (funnel) shaped spout and charging hole.
PSI manufactures and tests drums to the requirements of DOT 7A Type A. These can be made of carbon steel or stainless steel and come in diameters from five inches to forty-eight inches or more and in heights from just under five inches to ten feet or more. We can add handles, custom embossing, linings, and have many choices of paint color.
We manufacture the full line of MIL-D-6054 (MS 27683 and MS 27684) and MIL-D-6055 (MS 24347). These are reusable shipping and storage containers made to military standard specification drawings which were developed by Packaging Specialties and Wright Patterson Airforce Base for severe duty. Our mil-spec drums are painted in approved paint colors or can be customized to suit your needs.
