Charlie and his Team of diving experts are here to help you with all of your SCUBA diving needs. At Boise Scuba Center you will find Courses for the beginner, specialty courses and leadership courses all the way up to divemaster and instructor.
Charlie Stirling, owner of Boise Scuba Center, leads our SCUBA diving courses and has been training divers for over 30 years in Idaho. He knows his stuff! Although Charlie does not teach all the courses he does hand pick intructors that are very knowledgable, very safe, and fun to learn from. We boast the best instructors anywhere!
Your new adventure begins with the NAUI Open Water Diver certification course which gives you a license to dive. Upon successful completion of our first level course you will be issued a certification card that is valid anywhere in the world for dives up to 100 feet and never expires! And, we pride ourselves in producing safe, confident and prepared divers!
This full certification course is designed for kids ages 10-16. We devote special time and attention to make sure kids learn correctly. It is a one week course Monday through Friday during daytime hours. The course is conducted by NAUI instructor Dave Bennett, a very patient and positive instructor.
If you want to achieve the highest non-instructional rating in Scuba Diving, then the distinguished and respected Master Scuba Diver course is for you! We teach the NAUI Master Scuba Diver Course because it's an actual course, not just a rating! This is NOT an easy course nor is it a fast course. But, if you want superior skills, knowledge and experience then you will love this course.

Please don't make your total assessment on this one experience, but I was not impressed with the communication for service. Called to get a battery changed for my dive computer & the man I spoke with said I'd have to come in the following day when their tech repair guy was in to see if they could change it. I said I couldn't come the following day. He replied that they change a lot of batteries but couldn't guarantee they could change my computer batt. I respect that, but for good service it just seems that the dive shop guy I spoke with should have at least offered to say, "Let me see if I can

I just took my scuba certification class with Dave. He was a great teacher. He made safety the first priority and helped everyone feel safe while we dived. I now feel very comfortable diving.
I bought all my gear from the shop and was glad to be able to try it on there and have the owner’s recommendations.

First time in shop with daughter who is advanced diver looking to invest in gear. Lots of great products, but why oh why wasn't the owner wearing a mask? Or insisting that customers wear masks? The lack of concern for the safety of others, especially with a disease that can cause permanent lung damage and end one's diving days, was very disappointing. We'll be shopping online for our gear. What a shame.

Charlie Stirling is the best! He certified my husband and most recently our seven grandkids. He has such patience and a wonderful sense of humor. We love his trips and look forward to Belize with all of the grandkids. It gives us peace of mind knowing Charlie will be there to help them with their first dive trip.
