Been coming here since 1990. The quality of the food and service has not wavered at all. Great job, guys, you try and actually care!

When my friends and I visit Palm Desert, we always dine at JC's 3-5 times during the week. Great food, great service, wonderful setting. We do miss the prior owners but the new management is wonderful, too.

JC's is tucked in off El Paseo and Sage in Palm Desert. They have a sweet patio under the trees. I've had several things that I love to eat there. Machaca and eggs, Avocado Toast, Soup and Sandwich, along with a mimosa. This is a photo of the hot dog my sister ordered yesterday and she loved it! It had sauerkraut and mustard along with a very tasty pickle. Tiny inside, but sit out if you can.

Michelle and The staff were very welcoming! We sat at the quaint little bar and had an awesome experience from the more than awesome Cubana to the delicious skinny margaritas! The service was not only exceptional, but the owners Casey and Michelle clearly care about their staff and helping things run smoothly! We are huge foodies and love our cocktails! We will be back...as soon as our next day off. Love this hidden gem!!!

Good pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. Out door seating was enjoyable. They offer very good tasting chocolate lava cake. The staff were very alter and attentive.

The avocado toast is delicious highly recommended. Great atmosphere, friendly staff.

As a former restaurant owner who worked it for over 40 years this is the true GEM of el Paseo ... wonderful warm staff who looked after me all through covid and way before... owner operated and believe me you can tell... THEY CARE! And guess what??? Their food is awesome and still my favorite place... alone or with guests... just don't take my table lol... really, make the effort and they have $5 happy hour ALL DAY

Amazing food, great service, and great drink selection! The bloody mary was on point and the chili cheese scramble hit the spot! definitely check this place out!!

I ordered the Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict. Food was delicious, service, top notch. Nice seating outside not to noisy. What else can you ask for ?

Food was amazing! Bloody Mary was perfection! Ask for “Mimi’s” pastrami melt! It’s not on the menu! Highly recommend!

The food delish, the ambiance cozy, great location you can shop around after dine in fantastic place in El Paseo, good size for the restaurant, quite busy it was a perfect portion of the plate. Satisfied customer here.

Excellent food, excellent service, ambiance so cheery. Best of all our pups were welcome on the patio which was a deal breaker as part of our trip away from home.

Go there. Eat there. The Gluten Free bread option with my meat lover's scramble was tasty and better than most bland options. Our delightful server, Jennifer, said it was from a local bakery. Sat outside and were fully shaded from the sun. Nice relaxed atmosphere and even the bathroom was a relaxing space. Good way to end our weekend before heading back home. (Bonus: there's a Comic Book shop just across the parking lot).

What a charming little spot. You can sit inside where the AC rolls, or outside on the front patio. There's plenty of parking in the back with a rear entrance.
The hospitality shown by this quaint spot is remarkable and it also is shown in the clientele. Everyone was super nice.
The food is obviously made with love. I ordered the hearty french dip with steak fries. The crusty baguette was the perfect amount of chewy without roughing up the roof of your mouth. I love this place. They are always in a good mood. They have a lovely fountain out front and umbrellas and great indoors feel as well. They make a solid Bloody Mary from a funky bar they have inside. Fantastic breakfast selections. Been coming here for years and they are always improving. It's not posh which is also nice. Sometimes cozy and friendly beats the uptight crowd trying to take selfies. Simply a great place to go to. Lots of friendly laughter and they bring sides or anything you want without charging. A man's heaven.

Was getting my hair cut on Friday. The guy cutting my hair told me that JC's is the best place to go for brunch/lunch nearby, that the owner of JC's gets his hair cut at Lucky's. I told him that I typically get mediocre food in Palm Desert, that I'm open to try any new place.

Drove over here yesterday AM (Sunday). While on El Paseo it is hidden away. Hence the reason I've never seen JC's. Easy parking in the back. This was perfect as I had Elizabeth (my baby English bulldog) with me, won't let her walk on the hot pavement.

While visiting Palm Desert with my friend we stopped here for Breakfast. The place we ate the day before was good, but felt heavy and sat with us all day. The food here was not like that at all. My friend got the avocado toast and loved it. She repeated her order the next day when we came back again. I got the Denver scramble with fruit and sourdough toast. The eggs were light and fluffy and tasted very good. The OJ is freshly squeezed, or at the least taste like it is. I also enjoyed the same meal when we came back the next day.

This place is great. Patio with nice fountain. I loved my Ortega Chili Sandwich with roast beef and tater tots. So nice to have something other then fries for once. Staff is super friendly and have fun while working. Highly recommend.

We had a very large group that was spilt up in several tables.
Our server was friendly-ish haha I sensed a lil attitude, but I don't blame him I modify to the point of frustration sometimes haha

I'll start off this review to say we do not recommend and we will not be coming back here.

We were in PS for the weekend and came here for a late breakfast/early lunch as a party of 4. We were told the wait would be 10-15 minutes. Wait ended up being more than 30 minutes.

We did see the restaurant take precautions for COVID; however, the owner wore his mask without covering his nose (which defeats the purpose of wearing a mask) and he was walking around a lot.

This place is a GEM! Food is great, and portions are generous. The staff is friendly, even a little quirky. Fun place to go and enjoy a breakfast or lunch. Patio is delightful, in a small court yard with trees and umbrellas for shade from the desert sun. Reminds me very much of a east coast deli type.
Can be very busy, particularly at the height of the season, but it is really worth waiting for. The pastrami hot dog is a blast, but they seem to have the sandwich category down pretty well. The chicken salad is generous and delish! Enough to share. Have not been for the breakfast, but our friends

Your typical breakfast/ brunch place. Heard a lot of nice things about this place so what better way then to actually try it out. Obviously everything covid, it was all outdoor dining. Nice cute little patio seating. The menu is your basic brunch menu. I opted for a club sandwich while the others went with the benedict. My sandwich was ok, nothing major to rave about. Typical ham, turkey and bacon served with chips. It was good. While the others had benedict, smoked salmon. Well, let's say you were looking for the salmon.
