Caregivers will assist with activities of daily living, provide compassionate care to residents, and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction of the Administrator. My grandfather lived at Cedar Ridge for the last 3 1/2 years of his life. They loved him as their own. Several had such a close connection to him, they even called him "Grandpa". The quiet country, family-friendly, setting was the perfect place for him (and us) to feel like he was "home". The staff-to-resident ratio was also wonderful. Even though Grandpa had dementia, he was treated with full dignity and respect (and a little bit of sass when he dished it out. 😂)He was still able to "be his own man" yet, whenever he needed assistance, it was available. Whenever he didn't want assistance
