TOM DOLLE is one of the country's top visual communications, branding and marketing specialists. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Tom ran a NYC design firm for 35 years before moving to Palm Springs, California. He was also an Adjunct Professor in Pratt Institute's Graduate Communications Design department, where his sought-after classes were the core of the visual language curriculum.
Having worked with a full range of large corporate clients, Tom steered his company's focus to branding, events marketing, communications and product design. He is currently the Creative Director for Palm Springs-based Destination PSP, a consumer products company with a presence in dozens of museum gift stores and multiple retail locations, and maintains a roster of branding and communications clients across the country.

Services
In 2021, Desert AIDS Project expanded its mission and became DAP Health. The name DAP Health more clearly conveys its commitment to the greater good and the diversity of over 9,700 people calling DAP Health their healthcare home. For the new brand, I created a logo using the DAP letters in lowercase to represent humility, the overlap suggesting the holistic range of services, and color that expresses its broadly diverse client base.
Over the course of a decade, Tom Dolle Design created an extensive branding and advertising program for this well-known New York home furnishings company as it grew to encompass multiple international showrooms.
We created the original logo and branded applications, along with stylized photo shoots for on-going ad campaigns in high profile interiors publications such as Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, House & Garden, World of Interiors, and others, using trim as the focus of cleverly constructed still-lifes.

A classic form of communication, a poster is one of the most difficult-yet most visible-forms of graphic design. A good poster draws you in and communicates a simple message, with layers of meaning as you study it further. My first design projects were posters for high school events back in the '70s (that portfolio got me into RISD).
