A facelift makes the cheeks and neck more youthful and more attractive. As we age, our skin stretches and loses its elasticity. Fat remains attached to the skin, so there is often an excess of fat in the inner cheek folds and in the jowls. Often, the underlying primitive muscle layer stretches and contributes to sagging of the cheeks and loss of a youthful neck contour.
Traditional (uses a scar from one ear to the other, and is very effective in eliminating scowling). Endoscopic (uses five small scars, and is very effective in elevating the forehead accurately). The "closed" technique is used mostly for patients having changes in the upper two-thirds of their nose. All scars are inside the nose. The open technique is very useful to precisely change the shape of the nasal tip in addition to the upper nose. It includes an external (outside) scar across the strut between the nostrils.
When interacting with others, the eyes and eyelids are probably the most important features on our face. They show a tremendous amount of emotion. It is natural for us to gaze into each other's eyes to determine happiness, sadness, anger, vigor or fatigue. Any visit to a store selling cosmetics attests to the emphasis on the attractiveness of the eyelids.

Dr. Lavey is the best of the best and truly an amazing, talented cosmetic surgeon. He is an artist and perfectionist. Dr. Lavey did a face and neck lift on me June 24. I cannot tell you how happy I am with the results. This was my 4th lift starting in 1989 so I have one done about every 10 years or so. I believe that it is very important to maintain your face and start in your 40's and 50's if you can. I am now 84 in very good health and I feel and now look like I'm in my 60's. I recently had cosmetic surgery with Dr. Lavey. It was an excellent experience. He is a real pro. He takes his time to answer all questions and really listens. The surgery was done in a outpatient facility where I was very well cared for. I am very happy with my results. I look at least 10 years younger!! I am content to have Dr. Lavey as my cosmetic surgeon and will continue with him for botox etc.as needed.

Usually I'm super supportive of fellow small business owners but my experience here was so unbelievably terrible that I feel I must post this as a warning to others. DO NOT LET THIS DR INJECT YOUR FACE!!! I was disfigured for over 4 months because I made the mistake of coming here. The dr completely ignored my directions on where I had previously been injected with successful results. He insisted he knew best then completely ruined my face. I could tell just sitting in the waiting room for a few minutes that I was going to have a good experience. Dr Lavey is an artist. Who better to help me reduce the invisibility that occurs as one's face shows the signs of aging?
It is now 12 days since my surgery and I couldn't be more pleased. The results are everything I hoped it would be and more. But surprisingly, the healing was so quick, the bruising minimal, and sutures in the hairline, that this past weekend I was out circulating with friends, using makeup and the mask to hide areas not yet healed. Dr. Lavey performed a rhinoplasty on my teenage daughter. The whole experience was amazing, he put us at ease (me especially) with his calm and personable demeanor. He went over in great detail how he's planning to perform the surgery, and was accurate about the recovery steps. We had direct access to him post surgery for any concerns, and he made sure to call personally to require about the recovery process. I had liposuction of some abnormal looking fat I had on my arms, and also part of my side back zone.
It was quite an emotional thing for me, but he has a fantastic bedside manner, and I felt very comfortable with him in all aspects.
The surgery went without a hitch. Healing was great. And I am so very happy with the results.

I found Dr. Lavey through a friend who had him on a breast augmentation over8 years ago and then I yelped and goggled him for reviews. I saw a total of 5 doctors regarding the procedures I wanted and chose Dr. Lavey because he was the most in tune with what I wanted and the most confident of the 5. I also had consultations done for some other procedures and Dr Elliott was great. He explain everything in details and his prices where very reasonable!
Kathy, his assistant, is fantastic. She will answer all your questions and she is incredibly polite.
We live more then an hour away from the office, so unfortunately it was just to long of a trip to go there every few months, but I am considering some other jobs done and Dr Elliott is at the top of my list.
