Generally, a person may keep their home or vehicle, provided the payments are current and the person has the ability to continue to make the future payments. A Chapter 7 Bankruptcy discharge does not eliminate student loans, except where undue hardship can be proven.
A Bankruptcy discharge does not eliminate other debts including: certain taxes; alimony and/or support payments; fines, penalties, and criminal restitution; debts incurred by intentional injury to a person or property; or debts from personal injury caused while driving under the influence.Chapter 7 Bankruptcy can eliminate most, if not all, of your unsecured debt.

Under Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a debtor can restructure finances through a plan of reorganization approved by the bankruptcy court. By reducing obligations and modifying payment terms, a Chapter 11 plan can help a debtor balance its income and expenses, regain profitability, and continue in operation.
Chapter 13 Bankruptcy allows a person to consolidate their debt while making affordable payments to a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee. A payment plan is proposed, which repays in whole or in part the total indebtedness over a three or five year period, depending on an individual's income and expenses.

Mr. Reissman really cares for his customers, he seats and listen to your concerns and advice you. At the initial consultation you don't feel rush, you can relax and take your time expressing your issues and at the end he always come up with the most a satisfactory solution. I used their services twice and both times I been happy.
Cyndi and Jessica are really sweet, and professional.

This attorney is honest and will stick with you and do the job done correctly. He went back and fixed all the mistakes that were made after filing bankruptcy with a different attorney. You will not find a more honest man that keeps his word without adding more charges even when it turned out to be more work than he expected. I recommend him to anyone.

Because I can't rate a zero. Rude, condescending, and dismissive. Not one ounce of compassion or helpfulness. If you're struggling financially and don't have the funds, he doesn't want you as a client. "You need money to file for bankruptcy" was just one of his choice statements. I was referred to him by another attorney who's schedule was too full to consult with me. Not good referral. Just more traumatizing in an already over the top situation. Ill husband, business in immediate jeopardy, and I'm dismissed because he judges I'm not worth his time or effort.
