Waking up next to the ocean has it's own amount of amazingness. Knowing that you have to lock up and secure absolutely everything so you don't get robbed by the homeless camp, that's priceless.
We arrived fairly late and the side we were assigned had someone else in it building a fire and having a few booze. We tried calling the camp back to see if we could switch spots, the number didn't work. No camp host that we noticed.
Then a lady ran up and asked us what we were doing, we let her know that someone was in our spot and to my surprise she said "oh yes, that's us!" Then she told me to just

Management was really nice. The only bummer was that we never saw anyone in person due to the office having very minimal hours, but having the ocean so close totally made up for that!

This is a two star if not for the location on the bay. Lots of older long term renters. Lots are flat and the utilities are functional. Do not miss the jambalaya restaurant close to the park...incredible!

Location is phenomenal. Dogs on leash allowed, pick up after. Dumpster is at back end of park across gravel near an apartment building. Far walk to trash dog poo. But, it is in the marina and beach area, closest paved lot with level spot for pull thrus with 20,30,50 amp, cable, wifi, water and sewer. Crescent City Beach is walkable it's literally across the street. Baby sea lions bark and honk at the marina. 2-3 Restaurants on the marina nearest the park. Facilities are clean and safe. Hosts and office people are accomodating. Long terms available. Only 15 minutes from hiouchi visitor center redwood

The beach is just beautiful you're even allowed to build campfires out on the beach. You don't find that too often anymore. they also have several smaller type restaurants not fancy you could just have on your jeans and put on your flip-flops and go have lunch or dinner. The grilled fish was really good and there clam chowder as well. That place is called the chart room. The other restaurants just the right there by within walking distance weren't open and which were told that that was seasonal so it's probably getting ready to open. It's really nice there I just love the beach. it's not crowded

Much better rv park then before. We needed a quick place to stay for an impromptu get a way. The rv host was very accommodating, friendly, and attentive to the needs of the guests. We were very impressed with the make over and clean up job they did to the park. The bathrooms were very clean, laundry facilities were so helpful and clean. The rv spaces are little too close for our comfort but they are expected to re-do the lay out soon! The beach is within walking distance as well as great restaurants and the harbor. We're already planning our next vacation here and we haven't even left! :)

Manager here is awful. Her children run around like wild animals at all hours. Staff takes care of the ground maintenance which looks great, but it will be at the cost of your trailer. They use a leaf blower and will blow rocks up at your trailer. The bathrooms are constantly filthy and they have become a children's playground. You never know when the office will be open and the service is less than desirable. To somewhere else unless you enjoy crack heads and the smell of raw sewage. The raw sewage smell is awful and that can't be sanitary or legal....it is that bad!
