Laurel Tree officially opened its doors to serve people through video production in 2010, but founder, Matt McCulley, has been behind a camera since he was a child. Growing up in the camcorder boom, he turned his love of filmmaking and storytelling into a career as well as branding himself in the real estate industry and changing the way people view real estate videos.
In 2011, Matt's first award came at the LA Web Festival for Best Cinematography thus solidifying that he had taken the correct career path. Laurel Tree's deepest roots are in Real Estate video. We were one of the first companies in the country to provide video marketing to Real Estate agents and Matt and team helped define what a good listing video should include. Laurel Tree developed their own style with real estate, creating what they call real estate documentaries for the industry.
