Services
After returning from the war in 1946, L.W. (Buddy) Ledwell and his father, Lloy Ward Ledwell, established Ledwell & Son Lumber in Texarkana, Texas. Building pickup racks and livestock trailers was a sideline for the company at first, but soon became the focus of the operation. Buddy incorporated Ledwell & Son and built his first truck shop at the corner of Robinson Road and Waco Street in Texarkana.

Ledwell's Truck Mounted Attenuator is explicitly designed with employee and motorist safety in mind. In the event of an on-road or on-site collision, the Crash Truck absorbs the impact of a pending crash, reduces property damage, and bodily trauma. Ledwell uses attenuators that are tested and pass under the Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware, or MASH, updated guidelines.
In the event of an on-road or on-site collision, employee and motorist safety is the highest priority. Ledwell's Crash Attenuator Truck is designed specifically with safety in mind. At Ledwell, we work with our customers directly to build, design, and customize a TMA that fits their specific needs down to the last detail.

Just wanted to pass along some appreciation to the guys at Texarkana today. I forgot to get the gentleman’s name that initially answered but the fact that I was able to speak to a human right off the bat and did not have to push 1 for English in itself was awesome, to top it off he was a really nice guy. He quickly transferred me to Phil who help me diagnose the problem and I was able to get the part ordered right away. The majority of the places I deal with could learn a lot from these guys. I sincerely appreciate you guys, thank you again.

I work for Chevron and we had previously purchased a 3300G Heritage vacuum truck and recently a Roll Off truck from Ledwell. We had a small hydraulic leak from a hydraulic cylinder on the new Roll Off truck. Ledwell's service was amazing. The sent someone to pickup the truck which was 7 hours away and take it to their service facility, replaced the hydraulic ram and returned the truck the next day. I can't get this accomplished with some in town vendors, much less one that is almost 2 states away. Awesome response and professionalism. Needless to say, we are waiting on delivery of our 2nd 3300G

Customer service second to none, We ordered a crane truck with grapple to find out that the grapple would not work for our application. Although not Ledwell's fault Lewis not only found the correct grapple but picked it up, brought to our shop in RI and helped install it.
Considering he had to travel from SC to PA and then to RI this was way above and beyond. He also found a buyer for the original grapple and delivered that on his way back to SC. He spent three days fixing an issue that was not their fault, simply amazing.

My husband has been pulling Ledwell trailers for over 16 years. We just bought our 2nd brand new custom 9 hole feed trailer. Their customer service is amazing and it doesn't end once you pick up the trailer! They are always looking for ways to improve and willing to listen to the customers concerns. We have other companies closer to us, but the quality of a Ledwell trailer makes it worth the drive for us!

Both my father and I have done business with this company for many years and always had the greatest service and satisfaction with their machinists and technicians. All that changed today when I apparently ran afoul of the owner for doing exactly what I have been doing for nearly two decades. When I stated that I had been dealing with X employee for years, I was then accused of doing business under the counter with said employee and informed that he has a major issue with it. Misunderstanding or not, he pole-vaulted to an assumption that was as far from the truth as imaginable and I'll address
