Love this family run establishment, where you are known by name. The quality of food is always perfection. This little mom and pop restaurant has variety and great tasting options, that keeps us coming back. If you are restaurant Covid shy, don't worry, try takeout. Super nice people super mediocre food. I was too far from China valley and river grain bistro so referred to here. Out of apps n mustard n chili oil. I swear it's always my luck. Glad I cook but need a break once in awhile so great food would be nice Tucson

Been coming here for a long time. The food is consistent and delicious! Definitely family friendly. Fred is very welcoming and remembers you every time! Id highly recommend getting the oolong tea! Ive never had a bad meal here!

I have a severe peanut allergy but I love Chinese food. The staff is super nice and I have eaten there a couple of times and I feel safe eating their food. Overall an amazing restaurant with fantastic food

Excellent food and service; 8 treasures meal and sweet and sour chicken were delicious. Thank you! Too busy for conversation today but great time…new favorite dish is 8 treasures, but i think I counted 9: shrimp, beef, chicken, mushroom, onions, bell peppers, water chestnuts, tofu, peanuts… throw in the rice for #10! And please turn the ac down 😁

Amazing food and the staff are all awesome people. The waiter excitedly took the time to help my wife find foods that work for her allergies.
The environment is nice too. I like the things they have on the walls.

Best hot and sour soup in USA and every Chinese dish that I ate here was also fantastic. Family owned, momma rules of the kitchen, son takes care of the front. This is one of the places that I take visitors and prices are very reasonable

I'm a fan, based on the experience, service and quality... Dishes are a little bit light on the protein, but that's my only complaint. Otherwise, amazing meal. Service was really good, waiter kept our drinks full without needing to ask; that's a big one to me. Average sized dishes for a little place like this. Everything came out hot and fresh, tasty as expected. But yeah, when you order something like chicken with black bean sauce, and you hunt for the chicken hidden in the peppers and onions, little bit disappointed. Vegetarians would love this place! Their food is amazing. Let's set that straight. 5 stars if were judging the food alone. The service used to be just as good as the food idk what happened if the people working there are stressed out or what but the guy I usually see just isn't as friendly anymore. Or at least hasn't been since everything is done over the phone since they don't do dine in bc of covid. Every time I call if I ask any question about something they don't have or don't do his whole demeanor changes and every time now I always feel so stupid asking him anything. I'm already a shy person

I have been patronizing this establishment for years, bringing family and friends to dine with me there and tonight I asked for additional potatoes rather than rice in the beef potato and rice bowl and they refused such an easy request. The bowl is a little ridiculous. It's 80% white rice with cubes of beef thrown in very sparingly and some crispy potatoes. They sure charge a lot of money for basically big bowl of rice with a few toppings. I mean the waiter knows us well, so they couldn't just add some some more potatoes? I'd prefer not to eat a bowl of rice filler. There have been

Unfortunately ALL the Chinese food I have tried isn't worth the price. Sweet and sour chicken was made with HUGE CHUNKS! Too much chicken for one bite, not enough flavor. All the dishes that used to have many veggies with the meat don't, it seems all the sauces blend. You can't tell the difference between sweet and sour with orang chicken and Mongolian beef is now sweet not spicy. Very disappointed. Only Chinese food that I even enjoy is PF Chang's but they have a limited selection

Order ahead, wear your mask to pick it up, they have gloves on to take payment, a cup for used pens, and hand sanitizer on the desk. I love it that the Staff is always so nice and grateful!

Best chinese food in Tucson! Great family restaurant with the most amazing food. Always a friendly atmosphere with an fantastic selection. Fred is always super friendly and personable. Only downside is their restaurant is on the NW side of town. Doesn't stop us from making the 40 minute drive cause the food is always worth the trip! We highly recommend to anyone who wants REAL chinese food.

I don't think I would have ever found this place if life hadn't brought me out into the area. Now, I can say I'm willing to make the 10+ mile trip for amazing food.

Everyone there was pleasant, super-helpful, and took extra steps to ensure that food was properly handled, and safely handed over. In another time, I would say they almost went overkill. Now, I'd say they set a local standard for how we should be protecting ourselves as we navigate the current world.

Hot and sour soup is authentic. You can tell because they only put tofu and bamboo shoots in it and don't add any BS like baby corn, carrots, or peas that a lot of fake Chinese restaurants do.

Their take on the Beijing zhajiangmian is a departure from what I'm accustomed to, but it is still very good and that's what matters. Would highly recommend

We came here on our way through Tucson because I didn't want fast food and Chinese food is our comfort food. What a mistake. On service, ambiance, and taste, this place missed the mark. Our waiter was nice but unapologetic for the restaurant's shortcomings.

Ambiance: According to the kids "this place is trying to hard to be Chinese" regarding the decor. However, on the contrary, the dishes looked like it came from Denny's. Odd. Forks were standard - we had to ask for chopsticks.
