After completing a BA in psychology and Master's degree from Canada in theology, Luke found a deep passion in working with trees outdoors. Initially being trained by a Master Pruner in Canada, Luke then worked for a short while doing line clearance work for a utility company in Colorado. He soon found that his tree climbing skills became in high demand for hard-to-access trees.
He started his own tree care company and has been operating it for 20 years in the Greeley area. Tree climbing is not only Luke's occupation, but has also provided an outlet for him to showcase his tree climbing abilities in competitions. The dedication and discipline to increase his climbing skills has furthered his career in arboriculture and has brought him many tree climbing titles.
