Majestic Theatre Information
Veterans' Voices Project explores the realities of serving and being a veteran in our country. The content is written locally and inspired by real veterans lending their voice to the plays. This show will give the audience a lens into what service is like, the highs, lows and everything in between.

Vaccine verification or negative testing will be required for patrons age twelve and over to attend. A group of well-intentioned white teaching artists scramble to create an ambitious "woke" Thanksgiving pageant for a school tour. Despite their eager efforts to put on the most culturally sensitive show possible, it quickly becomes clear that even those with good intents can be undone by their own blind spots.
Services
Our goal is to provide the greater Corvallis community with fun and edifying classes and workshops, taught by both local and visiting experts in their fields. The Majestic Education Program is seeking new and exciting instructors to teach new and exciting classes! We have the space, resources, and support that can allow anyone who has a skill they'd like to share with the community to teach a successful class.
The Majestic Theatre (a division of the City of Corvallis Parks and Recreation department) is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion and to creating a safe place for actors of all backgrounds to explore their craft. We are particularly eager to work with artists of color and other artists from marginalized communities.
Congratulations to the cast of our upcoming production of "R.U.R. Rossum's Universal Robots". We are so excited to see this talented cast. Congratulations to this amazing cast! First-time director Kelly McCauley brings this largely forgotten play to life on Zoom in a new. Congratulations to everyone in the cast!
With your help we can continue to develop a wide range of cultural and artistic productions and education programs for Corvallis and the surrounding area. As a division of the City of Corvallis Parks and Recreation department, we are committed to making our community healthy and thriving.

Donations to The Majestic Theatre are tax-deductible (per IRS p526) as it is a subsidiary of the City of Corvallis Parks and Recreation department, but they do not qualify for the Oregon Cultural Trust tax credit for match. All donations over $50 will be recognized via a dazzling paper star with the donor's name on it, placed prominently in our front windows as a testament to your generosity.
The Majestic Readers' Theatre Company offers high quality staged readings on the last weekend of every month. The Company will offer a production in the "readers' theatre" style: trained actors, with scripts in hand, make the play come alive through vocal talent, facial expressions, and minimal staging.

The acting was good....Sort of amateurish but nice. Especially liked the humor in the modern tale of Scrooge.

My husband just discovered this place! I had no idea they did other types of shows. So we've been going to TONS of shows and loving it! From Plays to Burlesque to Comedy to Aerial Arts, this theatre has it all. It may be small, but it be mighty! The shows they are able to put on are astonishing! So, so, SO GOOD!
Just keep in mind that everything (so far that I have experienced) runs 20-30 minutes late. So if you expect it to start on time, it is doubtful that will happen. I don't know if that is normal (it wasn't when I was in the theatre), but maybe that's a thing now? /shrug I don't know, but

A great local theater, plays, comedy smackdown, musicals and readers theater . Great seating, snacks and wine or brews and prices are very reasonable. Volunteers are so helpful in several ways, stop by when you're in town.

Had a raucous good time at Majestic Science Theater 3000: Shriek of the Mutilated. In terms of laughs per dollar these shows can't be beat. - just $10! The two MST3K virgins who came with me said it was worth every penny they paid (note, I bought their tickets).

Great local place to see plays and shows. Very small so any seat is good. They have a cute little lobby. Would be nice if they had better concessions as they just have cookies and chocolates, but no snacks that are gf or vegan really. They have some drinks. Still a fun place to go.

We've been to this venue on multiple occasions. The theater is nicely decorated, clean and even has a wall collage of its history which we loved. The staff is friendly and very accommodating! I took my Grandmother to see a production of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and we absolutely LOVED it. The set pieces, props and Orchestra were fantastic! Our favorite characters were the Baron and Baroness (Portrayed by Tim & Kim Kelley). My Grandma said they reminded her of Carol Burnett and Tim Conway. The vocal pipes on Baroness = WOW! Easily one of the best voices in the mid-valley. Thank you for a wonderful

Small, intimate venue that is perfect for enjoying a show. We recently saw Mort there and loved the performance. They have local craft beers at good prices. Well worth checking out a show.

The Majestic Theater is a notable landmark of downtown Corvallis. It's a setting for musicals, ballets, modern dance, concerts, you name it. It opened in 1913 as a vaudeville venue- and back in the 90s, it was restored to its former glory, with some upgrades. They've expanded to have companies of their own- a chamber music group, another devoted to local works, a reader's theater, community theater.

Since they're located on the Willamette riverfront, they have ample parking, and they're near several restaurants/pubs. Perfect for dinner&a show. Bringing joy, education

We may be a small town, but we've got it goin' on when it comes to live theatre! This place is a venue for experiencing all of the emotions one can imagine, while in the audience of any of a multitude of shows and performances! Adding improv to the mix has brightened the Valley floor! Love the classes that are offered, the casual atmosphere, the historical location and venue, and the fact that there is a great bar serving wines, beers, and ciders during most shows!

Awesome non-profit organization!

The Majestic brings a wonderful piece of theater, music and dance to Corvallis while having a strong commitment to education and community involvement. The addition of the "Maker's Space" is really cool, I won't explain it here, but go to their website, or, better yet, go to the theater and find out about it.

A great place to support. Go check out a show, volunteer your time and/or help with additional financial support and get some cool perks. =)

Go see Guys & Dolls and you'll enjoy a well done production. Nathan conducts in the pit, Nancy has an authentic Joisey accent and Tommy does Nicely-Nicely greatly. G & D plays in May, 2010; check with the Majestic. In summary, another excellent Corvallis Community Theater musical. (Head out to Francesco's for gelato after wards - your choice for dinner - tapas at Magenta?)
