Cafe Jose is a family owned and operated business and is one of three eateries we own in Sedona. We also own The Golden Goose American Grill and Sedona Bakery and Cafe (former New York Bagel and Deli). We believe in providing the best meal value in Sedona. Therefore, we do our best to provide you good food and a rewarding dining experience while keeping our prices low.
We believe that good food should not "break the bank." Our meals are made fresh and mostly from scratch. We cook to order, so "you can have it your way" on just about anything on our menu. Our hamburgers are made from fresh, never frozen beef; our sauces are made in-house and are our margaritas are as authentic as our Mexican dishes.

Me and my parents totally found this restaurant by accident. First things first, this place is clean even the bathrooms are clean. The servers are nice and respectful and knowledgeable about their menu items. They have a solid menu that serves breakfast lunch and dinner all day; you gotta check this place out. It was a bit tricky to spot, I literally saw this place in the corner of my eye next to McDonald's and thought, why not? And ooooh boy was i in for a satisfying surprise.

This used to be one of our favorite breakfast spots. I deleted my old review to add a new review. While the food quality is still good, the prices are not. They have reduced the hours of the early bird specials and raised their prices. This is no longer a good deal. I like the food and service however I can't recommend this location. For those of us that are long time customers this is a slap in the face. I guess the benefit is that they aren't as busy so it is easier to get a table. Sad to see businesses chasing the money and trying to cash in.

Best service, fast friendly and efficient. My husband had the French Toast, he said it was delicious. I had the prime rib omelet it was ssooo good. I would definitely recommend this little gem. Looks are very deceiving from the outside. We looked all over Sedona for a breakfast place and just happened to find this restaurant.

Great, authentic Mexican food. Fresh made and tasty. You know it's good if the locals are the regulars. Really fast and so good!! Michelle took great care of us. She warned us the servings were generous, she was right. Chills Relleno was spot on. Great triple grill and tacos se carne asada. Will be back!

We thought we would give This a try one morning before a hike. Took our food to go and it was awesome! Kept us happy on a five hour hike. Came back the next day for more and the McD's next door had hit a waterline and shut down Cafe' Jose. Sabotaged! But no worries, came back AGAIN to dine in. Staff was fast and friendly, food portions were generous and the food was delicious! This is now our FAVORITE breakfast place. Can't recommend them highly enough!!

Club Wyndham and also a local tour guide recommended this place so we decided to try it for breakfast. As most places these days they are very short on help and have to curtail their hours.
Not too busy and we were seated immediately. If you get there early try the Huevos Ranchero at a special price of $7.99.
Quite tasty! Also had an omelette and they were very accommodating and added ingredients we prefer!
The food came out fairly quickly and hot which is important to us!
It was all very good. The omelette was served with toast and an abundance of home fries.
No clue what some talk about on Yelp

Stopped here after a long day of hiking and wasn't disappointed at all! They have such big portions for a really good price. They do serve breakfast all day which I love. The service was good we got seated as soon as we walked in but it did take a while for us to get our order in.
What we ordered:
- basic breakfast
- Chili Cheese fries
- Pancakes
The basic was your basic breakfast with eggs, toast, and hash browns. My eggs and hash browns were kinda cold when I got it. The chili cheese fries was a really big portion as well considering how it was just an appetizer but it tasted good. The

Small Tex Mex (?) Style place in a strip mall in Sedona by the Safeway. Most of my group (13 of us) enjoyed it though a couple thought the wide variety on the menu made them a bit hard to find out what was actually good to eat. The chimichanga or the meatloaf? The spaghetti or the taco salad?
The staff was great! Very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was also very clean. The food options just seemed a bit too much personally. Not a place i would say to avoid by any means, and if big variety is what you need due to a large group, then this place would definitely satisfy that need.

This was a nice spot that wasn't so overcrowded like many local spots in this area. I ordered the "rio grande" omelette, which was great except they forgot the shredded beef. They said they would make another but at the time I realized it had no meat I was halfway done with it. I declined, but it was nice of them to take a few bucks off the price.
I'd come back here again when I visit Sedona.

Good food, good size servings, good selection. My kids, two teens included, actually stopped talking, put their phones away, and ate all their food.
They talked about this place for two days, reminiscing about how good the food was. They weren't lying, it was quite tasty. The boys and I had burgers and my daughter the Torta Cubana. She said it was the best sandwich she's ever had. All were very satisfied.

Looking for a place to fuel up after a hike around Bell Rock. This place fit the bill perfectly! A varied breakfast menu, both traditional American fare and dishes with more of a southwestern flair. Portions were generous, service was friendly if slightly inattentive. Only sour note was husbands biscuits and gravy came out barely luke warm, but overall this is a great spot for breakfast

An odd combination of both American (including all-day breakfast) and Mexican. We opted for Mexican. I got a ground beef chimichanga with black beans. Unlike most chimichangas I’ve had, it’s topped with enchilada sauce instead of queso blanco. The shell appeared to be homemade and was probably the best part. My wife got something with a fancy name but it’s basically shrimp/steak/chicken fajitas. She liked it overall but didn’t like that there were some pretty fatty beef pieces, the shrimp had their tails on, and the jalapeños were very thickly cut.
Overall, it was a good place to get

Visiting the area on a recent getaway and found Cafe Jose quite by accident when we were grocery shopping at Safeway. It was late and cafe was closed but we saw a menu posted outside and knew we had to come back. Returned the next day for a late lunch. I loved that they serve breakfast at all times and offer both American and Mexican options. I noticed they also have a nightly special that looked like enticing comfort fare. On this first visit, my biggest problem was deciding what to have. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal (1/2 sandwich & homemade soup for me, Philly cheesesteak torta

After a hiking trip of granola bar breakfasts, I was craving a huge and hot breakfast. Pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns...I was hungry! Cafe Jose did not disappoint and made my breakfast dreams come true!
We came in at 8am on a Friday and were immediately seated. Everyone serving within the restaurant was wearing masks and taking precautions seriously, which I appreciated.
I ordered the Ranch Breakfast and it did not disappoint. We're talking pancakes the size of my head. Sausage, delicious hash browns and fresh eggs too! With tons of hot coffee as well. I appreciated the giant mugs

On a little overnight in Sedona and needed a basic but good breakfast place. We stumbled across Cafe Jose by driving around looking. We stumbled across a gem!
The menu is huge. They have breakfast all day, burgers, Mexican influenced breakfasts, and dinner plates. My better half got a basic breakfast that came with eggs, toast (tons of bread choices including rye and sourdough), sausage, and home fries. I got the basic and added a corn beef hash combo. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, the hash browns I chose were not greedy or overcooked (but crispy), and the corn beef hash was tasty and
