Services
Diabetes is a disease where the body stops producing insulin, or use insulin properly. Diabetes inhibits the body's ability to convert sugar into energy, resulting in high blood sugar. High blood sugar causes hardening and deterioration of small arterial blood vessels. Deterioration of these small blood vessels can cause damage to the eyes, kidneys, heart, and nerves.
Sport-specific shoes can really affect the way you play. Make sure to have your feet professionally measured by today's podiatrist to find a correctly sized shoe. If you participate in a certain sport at least two to three times a week, you should wear a sport-specific shoe. I saw Dr. Stanley today for a partial nail matrixectomy on both big toes to treat recurring ingrown toenails. He was competent, kind, and did an amazing job. There was a nurse in the room with him the whole time to help keep me calm and talking for distraction; even though from start-to-finish the entire procedure only took around 20 minutes! The worst part was the lidocaine injections and those were completely tolerable. All Olympia Podiatry staff provided me with wonderful service since day one of my call to schedule the appointment. I will be a return customer if the need arises, and I recommend

The whole staff is wonderful here. Dr. Stanley did a great job on my surgery, the scar is barely noticeable. He took the time to phone me the day before my surgery and explain things to me. He really takes the time to listen to your concerns. I would definitely recommend Olympia Podiatry Clinic to everybody.

Sometimes you just get lucky & you walk into a medical office where every person who works there has such a positive attitude that they just lift you up. This is that office. Dr. Utterback has been treating my foot ulcers for about 2 months & it is miraculous how fast they are healing now I have found someone who knows just what to do.

My first experience with Dr. Stanley was just what I had hoped for. He was knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and my feet were much happier when I left. I was pleased that Dr. Hovensack had left his practice in good hands. Although my wait time was longer than I would have expected, I appreciate that he was spending time caring for those before me.

Dr. Utterback is great- personable and informative. I always ask a lot of questions whenever I go to any doctor and didn't feel like I was being rushed out the door, or that I could only ask about the specific issue I went in for (intermittent foot pain). He seems genuinely interested and enthusiastic about imparting his knowledge.

This clinic is so awesome. Every one is super friendly and genuinely cares about their patients. Dr.utterback was quick to diagnose my foot problems and gave me tips for at home care to avoid surgery thankfully. The receptionist was so sweet and asked about my day and my plans for the weekend. Definitely going back for any future foot problems!

My daughter had a good experience with the staff and doctor. The staff was so helpful setting up the appt, even letting her come in on there day off. I appreciate the doctor for walking her through the foot procedure. I defiantly would recommend them to everybody. Being a mom from out of state I can't thank you enough.

I've had issues with ingrown toenails for over 20 years. Dr. Utterback has been able to help me alleviate the pain and advise me on ways to prevent the issue from occuring as frequently. Whenever the ingrown nails we're causing pain, I was able to be treated promptly and received great care. Very friendly and would highly recommend!
