Reclaimed Lumber & Beams is located in Western North Carolina, surrounded by some of the finest old growth lumber available in the world. Today, the modern lumber industry offers customers a wide variety of trendy options. Lumber can be toasted (thermally treated) in ovens to create a darker appearance, glazed to look old, or stained to make the white woods imitate Cherry or Walnut.

But absolutely nothing replaces the true beauty of time. Our lumber is truly reclaimed and aged naturally. These slow-grown jewels, offered by Reclaimed Lumber and Beams, are not going to be seen again for another 500 years. Add a little piece of history to your home today. For free wood samples, literature, or just some Southern hospitality, contact us today by submitting a request form, or just giving us a call.
Services
My partner Ronny Munday and I have a combined 70+ years experience in sourcing, purchasing and selling in the lumber industry. We have witnessed firsthand the unique appeal as well as the environmental benefits of putting these reclaimed and rustic materials back into new residential and commercial construction projects.
The possibilities for reclaimed hardwood flooring are unlimited. Our work is entirely custom so we are not bound to standard sizes, if you want it just ask! Our reclaimed flooring is all natural and shows the beauty and age of the wood. Our reclaimed flooring planks are hand-hewn and refinished to fit your design aesthetic.
If it is Reclaimed or Salvaged Lumber you are looking for, call us. We measure every board individually on a Net Tally, we do not add "shrinkage" like many suppliers, or Block Tally charging for air spaces between each board. We send accurate piece counts along with the actual Net Board Footage on every order.
A major portion of a reclaimed or salvaged structures is the weathered siding. It is a highly sought after product with the Gray or Silver patina left in tact. This product is available as is, Surfaced hit & miss, wire brushed, many times the aged barn Paint is left on. The most highly sought after are the barn boards with old advertising that is still readable.
Reclaimed Lumber and Beams builds each door like craftsmen did 100+ years ago, by hand, one door at a time. Using old growth reclaimed lumber in our doors make them more like a piece of art or furniture. We strive to make sure that every door reflects each owners unique taste and personality. Quality can not be faked, nor can precise milling and craftsmanship.

The absolute best place to come for real hardwood. The most popular types of wood for making furniture, accent walls, tables and much more! The staff takes their time with you showing you each piece you are interested in. We drove an hour and a half to get here & will do it again and again and again.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
You will be very disappointed. They do not mill their own products. They do not own their own mill. They do not own their own warehouse. They don't own a showroom. They are a fly by night operation. I bought 32,000 dollars of building materials which included flooring and doors. The doors were haphazardly glued and nailed together without proper joinery and planning. The flooring had variances of plus and minus 1/4 inches down the widths making it impossible to lay the floor properly without having spaces. Dale Ballew admitted to the fault as did another
